Anybody looking for a phone in this price range would be MAD to not buy Xperia U.
Anyway, if 600 MHz CPU can run ICS, does this mean 800 MHz will run it smoothly? Sony's entry level offerings (miro/tipo) use it, so I am curious.
C for crap
Off to HTC, what interested me; contrast ratio of Nokia pureview 808; heighest and miles away from 2nd one ? Being layman, do this affect screen visibility in sun or how does pictures looks on screen ? anybody to reply. please do reply.
gsmaarena why do you waste time for reviewing such not important phone. There are a lot of phones that deserves to be reviewed
It is called HTC Wildfire S.
There is only one version of the desire c. The other desire phones are larger, have 1ghz CPU's and 4" screens.
sorry htc bt i lost a lot of respect for u lately, if i am paying over 250 euros i want something that has decent power to run almost everything out there, bt all you give me is something capable of running 2010 stuff (included the one v in this as well)
at that price u can get something soo much better (eg xperia u or galaxy ace 2) that u are an idiot for buying this, sorry if u bought it bt its true
Extremely EXPENSIVE for it's features... Only 600mhz CPU, not autofocus, no led flash, only VGA rec, no front cam and such a high price...... Sony's Live Walkman has so many more features than this and still costs much less than this.... And for a few more bucks, there's xperia U... Other than smooth running ICS out of the box, Desire C is a huge disappointment...
So much for excuses that ICS doesn't work on low end phones and vendors refuse to update them. This one has 600MHz CPU and 512MB RAM. Not much better than my completely obsolete Wildfire and half a dozen of others that were denied the ICS update. Lets face it, vendors don't want us to upgrade phones, they expect us to buy new ones every 6 months. A very unrealistic thing to expect from users...
great review......but why is there a demo video of htc one s in the review of htc desire c ???
Yet another single core phone running ics. I wonder how some fandroids feel that their phone has better specs and outdated software? It is all about OPTIMIZATION! Google knows that. Hello project butter? If my gs3 doesnt get the official jelly bean it will be my first and last android
ICS on cortex a5 from this no sense phone, and no ics for older scorpions, fail htc
Specs somewhat similar to Samsung Galaxy POP & FIT, which are in market from last 18 months... God knows what HTC giving us new in this "C", than pocket friendly price??
