woww..excellent phone,..never seen a phon like this in my life..big success
Really superb and beautiful mobile...
Result for my expectation...
this phone price is very costly on they future, apps and version so i am not satisfied this phone but samsung galaxy range is very good compare by nokia.
Real bad phone, I don't know why on earth thy are still using resistive touch screens, I thought they stopped making them!! I regret buying the phone. Also what is it with phones with no WIFI,,, this one has no WIFI
Don't Buy it ,!!!!
It's look like phones of the cheap and rubbish unknown chinese manufacturers. I'm sorry for you NOKIA.
NOKIA you can do better at all price points, specially this one. Put Symbian Belle FP1 on these devices, which is a smartphone OS, instead of Series 40, which is a feature phone OS, and surely you will own all of the price points.
Phones that run Android and are cheaper than any touchscreen ASHA series:
The build quality of these phones have improved substantially. Not to mention Android 2.2.
Its very good phone for Nokia lovers.I'm a retailer and there is good demand in the market for this phone. And the customers purchased this phone are very much satisfied.....
Nokia and Jolla, 05 Aug 2012Well you're right.. The phones you have posted are cheaper than this one and they even have An... moreFirst of all, I love your nickname!
NOKIA is going for the entry level market with somewhat misaligned technology. It should have used Nokia Belle FP1/FP2 to combat the droids. While Symbian cannot totally win over Android in terms of ecosystem and apps, it can compensate on running with lower spec hardware and best battery life. *THAT* would be the main selling point of Symbian over Android and S40, not to mention better features in some aspects.
There have been minor cases of the *NEW* Asha series build quality failing already just days after launch like screens having dead lines and pixels, video streaming not working and such subpar build quality. NOKIA today is not the NOKIA we once knew and loved.
NOKIA has become an OEM brand since the *NEW STRATEGY*. The new handsets are made by Chinese factories such as Compal, Foxconn and other unnamed subcontractors using off the shelf components.
come on people, stop adding stupid comments like it's resistive screen ,it's not good phone,..... just look at its price compared to its features.u get pinch to zoom for god's sake .where u get this at that price from a good manfacturer?!
u r getting a meego like experience and vey reasonable collection of features with a very cheap price .there is no single sim android phone even with android 2.2(i am counting real quality phone manfacturers like samsung, haewui. even alcatel doesn't have an android phone in this price( at least in the middle east)) and i am not counting stupid unknown chinese phones that don't have 1/10 of the quality samsung phones, let alone nokia phones as if i compare those unknown chinese manufacturers to nokia ,it will be an insult to nokia.after all we all want phones to last for years not 2 months or so. even samsung feature phones don't come as cheap as 305 and those, that come as cheap as 305, r so weak in features in a laughable way.
so yes nokia asha 305 is very excellent phone to a limit that i can say it's unbeatable.just look at its popularity charts. after all we don't get such technology at this price from a quality manufacturer very often
what wow , 05 Aug 2012Dear god man...s40, touch screen, lowest resolution screen since toast makers, at least they p... morei think u have mistaken here, there is no S40 phone with out microusb, the phones without microusb r S30 (like 101)and they r at the very bottom of the food chain. and they don't contain 2mp cams. they mostly don't have cams or at most a VGA cam with no video
