Glad i waited to read your guys review, fair review everything was pretty spot on as i own an iphone 4s and jailbroken it is great, but i cant justify the money to upgrade to an iPhone 5. Apple can only go on so long putting better and better hardware with the same ageing iOS.

speed humm .... 4s is extremely fast and i merely noticed the speed improvement.
the weight reduction is a good job .
but !!!! what force me to upgrade to ip5 . . . ,
im satisfied with my 4s , and the hardware improvments r not very big to force me to spend alot of money.
it costs 1400 usd for 16 gb now, and expected to settle around 1000 usd ( 4s 16 gb costs 880 usd now) .
with this pricing in my country i wont miss alot without the upgrade.
i'd prefer skip this generation to next one.

The best smartfone ever on this planet is the one that suites you..All this bashing over a box of silicon is always created by samsung folks,,bashing between other brands is minimal compared to that bunch of spec obssessed fanatics..
I choose iphone cause it suites my needs and is slick as hell and no trouble.

Thanks GSMArena, I have just ordered this phone, it will be my first iPhone. Been using Android the last 2,5 years, and I will now discover if iOS is better for me. Never paid so much for a phone, but I need to see what the fuzz is all about

They actually buy Apple products, just because it's Apple, because it makes them feel special. If I was to compare iPhone with something else, I'd say it's a bit like buying expensive designer clothes. They aren't better at all, but there is great desire among the people to own them. It's brand that makes it so unique. There is no point in arguing about specs, as there always been something on par or even better then iPhone. Well, not only iPhone, in my opinion same thing goes for Apple laptops, but it doesn't change the fact that both products are very popular and sell exceptionally well.

The 4s was somehow better, the new iCrap 5 doesn't seems to worth to pay that much, maybe wait for 5s is a better option.

Anonymous, 29 Sep 2012It weighs 185 g for gods sake!!I have a Nokia C6-01 which is a really small phone but weights 131g, I really love how solid the phone feels, it feels like I can throw it against a wall and use it normally again, my friend Galaxy S2 on the other hand, is quite big and light, it feels like you can broke the device with your hands...

It's like fighting over religion for some of you people Android v Apple it's so stupid it's almost worthy of a mockumentary.
Just buy what phone you want to. I'm gonna get an iPhone because I have had both apple and android and I found prefered the apple iOS and I really don't care what anyone else has to say.

The weight only makes the device feels much more solid (probably it's not going to scratch easily since it's not using a very thin metal layer you know), and also it's balanced with the phone size.
