woo hoo should be getting the note 2 today.
Had the original note and it was fantastic. The note 2 is an upgrade but I would say not major though.
My only concern is the reduce width but lets see when I get it.

Can't wait to have this beast in my hand

Awesome phone. Still an 808 fan though. And well, I'd rather have the Xiaomi mi-2

rotem, 03 Oct 2012If you want to carry the pen just to "hovering" to get aditional information it's yo... moreNow let's ignore the rest of the features I mentioned like pressure sensivity, lateral button press and slot removal trigger functions. Stylus in the Palm series has nothing to do with this one. A Wacom stylus is a more fair comparison, and that's not the "past" as you wanna put it.

That tech is leading and whether you like it or not, we'll be getting more and more stylus compatibility in the upcoming years.

I saw the Lumia "future" tech in the link you provided. Nothing to be impressed about. If you do use gloves or fingernails A LOT (I'm male so my fingernails are always short, plus I've never put on a pair of gloves a single day in my life, there's no snow here) that could prove to be a somewhat useful feature.

Back in May I saw the Xperia Sola's floating touch and that was impressive. A nice feature but the device itself is subpar. The Lumia is a nice device, but there's no "future" display there mate. Now that's a gimmick, the stylus in the Note would be a gimmick too if it simply didn't pack so much functionality.

You truly know it is innovation when it has larger screen and lower screen resolution than previous generation. I'm glad they finally listened to some reason and chose 16:9 format but still lowering resolution because of that is lame move in my book.

rotem, 03 Oct 2012in the lumia 920 you can use any object you want to touch the screen. the big screen is good ... moreDo those "objects" allow you to get aditional information by just hovering them? Nope.
Does that technology allow 1024 degrees of pressure sensivity? Nope.
Do those objects give you additional functions on button press / slot removal events? Nope.

The stylus is meant for much more than simply activating the "touch" event on the touchscreen. If you don't get the point of the stylus, don't come to talk BS about it.

Fixed internal storage and awful battery life with faked camera quality, And TFT screen technology 2000!
And the worst part it has Qualcomm CPU/GPU! What innovation in that phone other than its a smaller than S3 and weighted like a brick and very think.
This stylus gives you a real pen experience not like a finger you can't write without taking whole screen for 2 lines, And there is an air stylus function
Check for some of this stylus power before you make a joke of yourself

AnonD-252, 03 Oct 2012The S-pen is often far better and easier to use than using the fingertip!in the lumia 920 you can use any object you want to touch the screen.
the big screen is good but not the stylus.
