FromChinaWithHeart, 26 Jan 2013Well, then maybe Nokia should start making digital camera with their old OS(instead of killing... moreYaa that would be better.. but I wish to see replaceable lens too so that I can use some cannon lens that I have..
monster, 25 Jan 2013with smaller sensor then samsung, nokia take very good pics! Have you tested it well or its just your hatred towards samsung?
Well I think this is to be compared with other cameras like lumix, CANONcamera etc not with NOKIA..nokia is a phone and this is not a phone.. I am testing it next week with other cameras..
Well, then maybe Nokia should start making digital camera with their old OS(instead of killing it, it's such a waste! )or maybe Windows. With the PureView technology and the PureMotion + HD. I'll definitely gonna buy one, I don't care if it's just a camera.
if you want the camera, with that amount of money, it's better to take canon g15 instead
or, if you want the connectivity it offers, better take smartphone such galaxy s family, iphone, pureview, or sony.
If you want the best of this two world, just get pureview 808. with the minus your support is now limited, as symbian now is dead
I just held this yesterday & its so god damn huge & thick for a smartphone & digicam.! Not including the.lens
aaptk, 25 Jan 2013yep, im not moving to wp unless i see a xenon flashI say you will in the next lumia pureview 38 megapixels, there going to add the 808 pureview camera in nokia lumia divices
Striker, 25 Jan 2013Yup, indeed. And it is a Samsung. So this makes Nokia:Samsung - 3:0to my knowledge all Samsung are good at is making washing machines :P
diogo1, 25 Jan 2013Actually, if you are talking about Pureview, its sensor is much bigger than the Galaxy Camera,... more I took a look at the photo compare tool, and put it against the nokia lumia 920, 920 is a little more detailed and better saturation and less noise, the galaxy cam is quite a terrible camera in my view
monster, 25 Jan 2013with smaller sensor then samsung, nokia take very good pics! Actually, if you are talking about Pureview, its sensor is much bigger than the Galaxy Camera, and I bet that's also the case with all Nokia flagships.
iamsujeet, 25 Jan 2013so it fails as a smartphone and a good camera too . Samsung 0, Nokia 2Yup, indeed. And it is a Samsung. So this makes Nokia:Samsung - 3:0
so it fails as a smartphone and a good camera too .
Samsung 0, Nokia 2
well...if it was a phone,i would buy it.or at least a camera with a smartphone functionality...is not that hard.a long time ao i saw a slim casio point and shoot, exilim i guess, and it was so preety and i thought:if only had a gsm module in it to be able to make phones,it will be all i want from a portable device(LG also had a tentative but it was not that good).I certanly believe they could put an micro-sim in it,,and it were perfect...but..this are grey-times in tech...untill someone will know how to combine best from any world and put in in a gadget, slim enough and portable
so many people are using this in Korea. It's an amazing camera, this is the future my friends.
"Here's a scenario of what you can do with the Galaxy Camera. You can broadcast video live of an event (there are several apps that do this, including Google+ Hangouts on Air), even if you can't get close (e.g. you're sitting at the back row) and get a steady shot even if you have to zoom in thanks to the Optical Image Stabilization."
In events like that the lightning generally is not that good, and the zoom makes camera shake much more pronunced, not to mention that the lens aperture get really narrow the more you zooming in, I really doubt that the optical estabilization can help too much unless the lightning is VERY good (ie: day light)...
So don't get me wrong, but I really believe that this device is a complete fail...
The amount of chromatic aberration on the pictures gave me a headache.
