some anti-trolls here are actuall another kind of trolls. As I said it is another big marketing year for htc. In recent years, HTC overdid marketing hype but technology. Nothing new is provided. I'm kind of disappointed. For instance, the ultrapixels remains the traditional quality from htc, but some reviews seem overrate it. (see it yourself, if u really buy it in the future) I don't know why. Anyway, we can see HTC is 4mp behind other leading competitors. (they have to lower pixels to keep up with others.
stu_ie_uk, 02 Mar 2013Full marks to HTC for trying to be different. Genuine innovation is non existent in the Andrio... moreNo you're lying. You don't own an HTC; you're just another troll hired by Samsung. GTFO.
[deleted post]It's funny to see all these Samsung trolls here pretending to be former HTC users. Like other said a smartphone is just a tool, and there's no need to deliberate bash a brand just to promote another. I have yet to decide what to get, but seeing all these Samsung trolls here, I think I'll give the HTC One a try.
Anonymous, 03 Mar 2013HTC One camera is no match for the Lumia 920 at all fronts.
http://www.neowin.net/news/came... moreWho cares about that heavy brick with ugly tiles?
we're looking to HTC one here, go put your add on lumia 920 page
Anonymous, 03 Mar 2013HTC doesn't have any innovating technology, just marketing. You are confusing HTC with Samsung.
HTC One camera is no match for the Lumia 920 at all fronts.
Design is nice even though its not practical for gaming cause usually you grab the phone by the front sides.
Hardware seems pretty good but sadly many turn offs like
1)screen button take space, i prefer Galaxy S3 design any day.2) No SD card (deal breaker for me) 3) small screen compared to S3 thanks to wastes space 4) the new stuff just make the phone cluttered, article said it could be turned off but not sure how it looks then. 5) weight moving in the wrong direction, my GSIII is excellent so dont want heavier phone.
Anonymous, 02 Mar 2013HTC One's low light camera still can't match a Lumia 720 in low light. Lumia 920's camera beat... moreProve it. All the in-depth reviews are talking about the 920 and its bad color reproduction and how difficult it is to get good night shots with it, and even the good ones have colors off. Xperia Z has already beaten 920 and all other flagships in indoor photography, in PA's test, they said 920 also had good detail but colors were very off. Show us some good night shots with good colors, Nokia fans always pretending that color reproduction does not matter.

HTC One's low light camera still can't match a Lumia 720 in low light. Lumia 920's camera beats it in all ends, from still shots, low light shots, and video recording.
[deleted post]What can i say,you can hate all you can but you can't deny they produce superbe phones.almost every good manifacture is hated by others with different ideology.even what i'm writing here you will never accept.be a hater,or a fan,buy it or not, trolling here won't save anybody's life or money.if even gsmarena said is a very good device, indeed it is,even when os obviously from past years they take apple's pary..is a huge step for such a good manufacture.bad reviews generally are bad intentions,or hate over something better, when you just can't accept something you disconsidder is better than you can comprehend.
I like this phone a lot. But Camera still crap I know it's ultra 4 MP but still looks bad.
Y didn't gsmarena even care to post in their news section that htc one won best new device of the year 2013 at Mwc
Like the look of the phone, very sleek and modern.
HTC one review
Full marks to HTC for trying to be different. Genuine innovation is non existent in the Andriod smartphone market of late. Perhaps their nose diving profits and crumbling market share have forced them to take this chance, and launch a product which, it would seem, their business depends on!
Unfortunately, Samsungs mighty marketing bulldozer, coupled with admittedly excellent products, will prove too much for HTC to eclipse. Lets just hope there's enough of the market left (after Apple have taken their huge bite too) for HTC to remain innovative and relevant
Professional photographs know that in order to double the perceived sharpness / clarity of the image you need to have a sensor with 4 times as many pixels as your old sensor. So, hypothetical 1000x1000 sensor will look twice as good as hypothetical 500x500 sensor, even though number of pixels is four times higher.
Therefore, 8 MP sensor can only look up to 41.4% as good as 4 MP sensor (everything else being same). Sqrt (8/4) = 1.41 = 41.4%
