The red SP seems to be thicker and has a rounded back, while the white and black SPs have a flat backside (which looks much better, IMHO). What exactly is different here? Battery capacity?
The screen doesn't look promising (colors seem washed out, contrast might be bad?), though..
only haters comment about viewing angles... because they use their mobiles sideways.
sorry guys sony phones are made for people whose eyes are in front.
They should use LG's plain IPS displays instead.
those are much better then the so called "Bravia" crap!
viewing angle ... well,it's only retarded people who seeing phone display from 0 - 10 degrees. i have Black xperia Z and i have to say it's beautiful. even when i compare to my friend S3 and Nexus 4 side by side, Z still the best. i'm not sony fanboy since before Z, i'm an iphone user for more than 4 years (current device iphone 4). i also have galaxy tab 8.9, ipad and n9.
I hope Sony can improve their display quality. It was so phathetic
Judging by the looks and the competition that Xperia Z has this could sell higher and turn to be the actuall Sony flagship...
MMK, 18 Mar 2013I don't need to wait for an experts review. Tell me you are blind and cannot see the poor view... moreRelying judgement on some JPG pictures?
I'd better judge them on real life performance.

This phon... moreI don't expect this phone to match the HTC One or other phones with 1080P displays. But I think it is fair to compare it with other phones with 720P displays like the Galaxy SIII, HTC One X, etc.
the design is cool,
but, too bad this thing doesn't support native video call.
we need Android phone with native video call support!
If you want a display that will satisfy your eyes then get the top-end 1080p phones. This phone is a mid-range phone and is priced accordingly, the specs will not be as spectacular as the big guns.
AnonD-79543, 18 Mar 2013Dude, that was an over-exposure. I don't have to explain what it is, do I?If it was over exposure, the device in the middle (in red) would have suffered the same result. Sony phones are known for the poor viewing angles (including the Z) and appearantly, this one also is no exception.
AnonD-92141, 18 Mar 2013wow prejudice! isn't that too early to pass comments on screen just by looking at 2-3 images? ... moreAnd by the way I am not a fanboy of any brand. I appreciate technology and I have no problem with buying a sony phone.
