HTC One wins best "NEW DEVICE" at Mobile World Congress, NOT wins "best smartphone" ;)
Best smarphone award will be for Galaxy S4....shine or rain

Ok? dont be a ugly TROLL, go to some samsung stand and try the S4 by yourself. And stop to judge....just based on posts in forums
INDROID, 13 May 2013u can dream it very well... samsung would never go for onscreen buttons... it always has capac... moreYou are right! !! I'm just dreaming, I'm going to take off and land freely to which oem can produce what phone I'm dreaming of. ... that's what my name! !!
gouti0000, 13 May 2013I think htc one has capacitive buttons too no brainer. And u can always lock your screen while... moreMaybe ur rite, but it depends how you handle your phone and theres a lot of protective case 4 it, and also I'm not after the camera of a phone, as long as you can shoot and video call. 4 example. ... iphone, (xcuse for those ios haters) is only one product with metal body that can beat almost everyone in the competion (xcept samsung... as of now).
sigitairos, 13 May 2013Clearly, S4 coming with no significant differences as their older sister S3. I decided to choo... moreWas there any significant differences from Sony XPERIA V to the XPERIA Z then?
Shahab-K, 13 May 2013Aluminium is not suitable for mobile phones due to dent issues. The most appropriate material ... morei have an N8 which is nearly 3 year old and still dont have any noticable dents.i should have dropped it a million times.
psysect, 13 May 2013 HTC ONE: Best Smartphone for 2013 HTC One listed as No. 1 Smartphone in most of popular w... moreYou obviously Googled out every possible website that nitpicked on SGS4's faults. Too bad you didn't read one of them carefully. The androidforums thread that you included here (http://androidforums.com/samsung-galaxy-s/303516-my-galaxy-s-overheats-50-degree-celcius.html) was from March 2011, and WASN'T talking about the SGS4. What the poster said was he "bought a Samsung Galaxy S 4 days ago" (four days prior to posting). But I guess you were too blind or lazy to fact-check and see it.
So the whole world considered the HTC One as a much better smartphone for low-light pictures and video, while you guys take a single picture and consider the GS4 the best.
Where are the low-light shots using moving objects? Where are real-life, low-light shots of closer objects (only one shot of a landscape?! really?!?)? Where are the shots of extreme low-light scenarios where flash needs to be used?
And who exactly crops photos taken from cellphones anyway?
And zero mention of the high dynamic range microphones on the HTC One for video recording?
The GS4 is a spectacular smartphone, but to give it the title of best low-light cameraphone over the HTC One makes me believe this isn't a reliable site for reviews anymore.
Aluminium is not suitable for mobile phones due to dent issues. The most appropriate material is plastic which is used by Samsung.
Anonymous, 13 May 2013Heating issue Screen smearing 8.8 GB internal memory I don't think so people are not dump. are you crazy buy the 32 gb version if 16 Gb is not enought to you
Update, May 8: The HTC One has a definite advantage here - the videos have more detail and more color (even if it is oversaturated). The Galaxy S4 videos have low contrast and most of the fine detail is smudged out.
Winner: Samsung Galaxy S4. Surprisingly, the Samsung Galaxy S4 has the better low-light camera performance. You'll have to snap several photos to make sure you have a good one, but the end result will be better than what the HTC One produces. The Galaxy S4 has a slight advantage in low-light video too.
fly'nfree, 13 May 2013The only I regret 'bout the Galaxy series are the capacitive button on the bezel. I've always ... moreu can dream it very well... samsung would never go for onscreen buttons... it always has capacitive buttons out of screen ie in bezels n thats what every sammy fan including me loves about it... even htc has capacitive buttons too... most of people like off screen buttons, very few who use nexus go for onscreen buttons which basically kills screen size... thats one of the reason for me to hate xperia z... galaxy S4 is still the monster... whatever tricks sony, lg, htc, nokia, moto can bring they cannot surpass samsung... htc one is the lone competition for S4 thz year but it z held short, a very distant second after the crown winner S4...
fly'nfree, 13 May 2013The only I regret 'bout the Galaxy series are the capacitive button on the bezel. I've always ... moreI think htc one has capacitive buttons too no brainer. And u can always lock your screen while playing videos. And i always use the card slot. Which htc doesnt have. No need for removable battery. And yes the best smartfone camera in the market right now is gs4 people who are supporting the htc one compare the photos taken in normal light conditions and zoom condition and u can know what i am talking about (that us if u have a htc one) haha.
And my advice to u people. Gs4 and the one are only a junction to future smartphones. Just wait for a few more days for the nexus5 or any ph coming with android 5. Gs4 is just a major update of s3.and htc just wanted to come back in the market thats why decided to make thus phone. Just drop ur htc one once and u will see a nice dent on ur premium body hahahaha.
The Verge scores:
1. HTC One - 8.5
2. Samsung Galaxy S4 - 8.0
3. Sony Xperia - 7.2
I believe The Verge more than GSMArena. HTC One is the best Android phone today not the SGS4.
The only I regret 'bout the Galaxy series are the capacitive button on the bezel. I've always accidentally touch it while on video streaming from the web,
that's why I'm going to get the htc one and give my gnote 2 to my wife. Amoled is cool but bit dimmer vs slcd.
Maybe another year when samsung make their flagship phone with on screen control (like my galaxy nexus), dual stereo speaker, plus fm radio.
Anonymous, 22 Apr 2013Did you even look at the review? It clearly says that the galaxy s4 has a more battery efficie... moreSo. ... use your cellphone always on standby.. the regular user charge their cell everyday/night. HTC one is better in Web and video playback. To make 2 days for moderate use is better, no one use their cell for standby purposes ( more than that day ), maybe you. ;-))
Anonmyous, 15 Apr 2013For your info, the S4 feels good in the hand, it's just light-weight... like a feather almost,... moreTry "on" the the beat on htc one b4 you connect to ur surround sound and you will see the difference, and the battery performance is better on one in web and in video play by gsm arena review.
It's a known fact now that the HTC has the worst camera in the market right now!

Performance, almost same. S4 design is simply good, but htc one already got award as best in design plus fm radio and front dual speakers, new ui. Display on s4 is bit dimmer compare to one, right now I'm using gnote 2 and gnex and I'm going to try the one.
