Their reviews look like doctoral thesis. They rated the One higher than the S4 and they have a LOT more tests than GSM. This review is a lot more biased towards Samsung.

SLCD was invented by Samsung/Sony joint venture. Samsung could use them (and does on their other devices) if they chose to. However AMOLED is one of the main reasons why people buy the Galaxy S series in the first place, from the very first Galaxy S phone. Because it just looks so much better than any LCD.

S4 looks awesome it has the best looks, design and feel, the plastic from which is made from looks more awesome and premium than the aluminum cover that HTC ONE has.
I actually find HTC ONE aluminum body and design to be very ugly it's like an aluminum beer can that just waits to be smashed.
Dude you just smashed my smartphone sorry I thought it was a beer can. ROTFL :))))))))))

It's a gadget site. Here you can see tests, clearly. You can see the camera samples by yourself, benchmark numbers, battery life numbers etc. Sorry, but if there are accurate phone tests on the internet, they are here.
You can see the test results by yourself without even reading conclusions, they are just obvious, man. The S4 is a better phone, the One looks slightly nicer for now, though it's bigger and heavier because of this.

htc is paying extra in marketing,
and fake reviews is also marketing,
s4 its better is almost everything for design
but it makes up in having removable battery and sd slot, and its not ugly by any means

I am so so confused after reading this comparison because of what i saw from sites like whathifi.com and engadget.com is like they have a different HTC One, i used Galaxy S3 and later switch to HTC One X and now i am thinking of One or S4, i see that is only GSMArena.com has rated the One so bad, i think i will like to trust someone else from now, i hate to see a biased reviews like these.

i did compare both the phones by myself, keeping them side by side n surprized to see no major difference between them... i like superamoled screen on S4 n looks of htc one... performance wise both are better than xperia z n these two are real fighters of 2013... for the first time i like a phone by htc... before thz i never liked htc... on the other hand samsung rock as always and everytime it had no one to compete hard but thz time htc has got that edge... thanks to htc one, really impressive...

I chose a galaxy s4 because I know Samsung keep there phones updated. Look at the s2 it has been updated to jelly bean. While my SE arc s got 2 updates in the two years I owned it and they weren't even going to give us ice cream sandwich! It was only because so many people kicked up a fuss that they released it and boy was it buggie. So yeah give me a power house plastics phone with good support for many years.

S4 definetly have better sound quality! High volume is not the same as good sound quality, but good stereo crosstalk is extremly important for the sound quality, too bad = almost mono = music sounds "dead"! I never ever listen to music using the phone speakers, everyone use headphones to listen to music on the phone!

Nothing new with samsung, just as expected. They add a new screen and a load of bloatware and present it as a groundbreaking new product. Pff, galaxy series is only for the masses, for the grey mainstream. So what are you waiting for, go and buy the plastic gs4 to be a part of the maistream. Haha, funny to see that half of the people are holding iphones, the other half galaxy flagships. World is getting boring..

I'll stick with the best whichever brand, and currently it is Samsung. I'm not against HTC or Sony, i don't hate for no reason like Samsung haters. The only advantage to the One is that is it slighty more solid, SLIGHTLY... the S4 is better than the S3 in build quailty and still maintains removable battery and SD slot... S4 beats One in almost every other category as you said... Sorry HTC, maybe next time...

From S3 onwards, the standby time has been the best among most android phones till today. Please refer to GSMarena's comparison or any other reviews out there. :)
