Food for thought...It's not very likely for the battery to do that. In fact in most cases it doesn't travel far from the phone...But if that's possible then its possible for the entire phone to fly up under something and get crushed. But by all means choose your favorite. Hopefully HTC has kinked out the dreaded HTC hardware defects "not saying that as a mock Im being serious". And I honestly think they mostly have. The One is no doubt a great advancement for HTC and awesome device in general

Good review and comparison!
But: to keep things fair in the camera quality comparison, you should have set both handsets on the same resolution and compared the whole picture, no crops of it. of course the S4 has more details, because it has more pixels (13 vs 4 is big difference). but htc 's idea behind ultrapixel was to make people not watching their photos 100% cropped and zoomed in, and in my opinion they are making a step into the new but right direction of smartphone cameras. also, ultrapixel is a very young technology so it could only get better.

Whilst I will agree that there is no doubt the S4 won this battle (not miles ahead of the HTC), I will still get the HTC ONE. Why? For the same reason that everyone else claim why the S4 is better - non replacable battery and no expandable storage. Firstly I have dropbox (like many) on my ONE X and my storage with all my music is only just reaching capacity after 2yrs. So in this case I will get the 64GB version if available in the UK. Secondly, I prefer non replaceable battery. I hate when you drop a phone accidentally and the battery flies out and goes under a car or something. Saw a similar thing happen to a woman on the london underground, battery went onto the tracks. So non replaceable battery IS NOT a negative factor.

Reachable battery and SD support futures are priceless for me, even phone's internal memory support up to 32 or 64! Software side, S4 is king like other galaxies s3 or Note/Note 2.
Conclusion: S4 is waay better than HTC one. Especially camera of HTC One is really odd, 13 MP camera of HTC ONE X's is way better, wrong choice! Low res photos are not good! S4 has more powerfull CPU (octa would be better imo) and performance, what left behind?

Samsang S4 mobile is better than HTC One because the clearity of picture is better and battery lifetime is also good ..................

I agree because the ONE is far closer to the S4 then the Onex was to the S3 simply because it has a beautiful design, good audio quality and decent all-round performance but if you look closer it's the same all story..the S4 AGAIN is miles ahead.
Superior/upgradeable and removable battery, SD Slot, Larger and slightly better screen quality, better day light camera, superior software with multiwindo multitasking, smart functions (rotate,scroll,pause,alert etc), Air gesture, Air hover..more sensors, better codec support out of the box, latest android out of the box etc
The list goes on and on..The one is absolutely amazing though slightly overrated imo, it's definetly better then the Z and is the 2nd best on the market as an overall phone and the no.1 when it comes to design though that's a subjecive matter..the S4 however comes on top in ALMOST every other field which should be the ultimate difference in the end between both phones.

King, 27 Mar 2013when i was confused between the S3 and the htc one x last year, i have seen a review on this s... moreDude the S3 doesn't lag that much anymore with JellyBean..Samsung have learnt from any mistakes they had and the Note 2 has little to no lag. Just because the S3 had this and that doesn't mean the S4 will. You need to remember that the S4 will be more efficient and speedy with the Snapdragon600/Exynos5 chipsets and superior GPU's. Don't be fooled in wasting your money on the One. I recommend you check the phones out in person and then make your purchase. The S4 is far better and you don't wanna chose the wrong phone. I sold my S3 and bought a HTC one and I have no regrets, sense 5 is easy to use and the phone feels premium. I also bought an external battery charger and have no need to carry a second battery.

For starters...BEATS IS TERRIBLE!!!!!!! Overall it was obvious the S4 would come up top, but one is pretty awesome. It's actually kinda shocking the S3 only lasts 15 minutes longer in call and video. Especially with the Amoled for video, but thats the high OC kicking in...but talk time kudos to HTC. But for Amoled and hihger clock the S4 did pretty awesome in web performance. Then the One having such high drain that caused it a loss on what should've been a surprising win. Very jumpy numbers for both. Then the extreme drop in FoV from S3 to S4 is shocking. Then the tiny marginal gain in volume on the One for having two speakers.

They might have had this review made up already though and this is still all pre release stuff so only time will tell.
