Panino Manino, 27 Mar 2013It will, but don't expect a miracle. Haha the exact point is the difference is like night and day! Google it if you dont believe it. Its not just a firmware update but they fixed a hardware issue, something that affected the lens apparently according to the guys at xda.
AnonD-80027, 27 Mar 2013Do you upgrade the HTC One which improve camera quality? It will, but don't expect a miracle.
Samsung is a much much better device. I also think it looks much better than one... no sd no remov batts.. bad software, Samsung rules.
Htc one looks nice but s4 is by far the better device, s4 will out sell the one on a massive scale too, nice try htc but maybe next year.....
Alright this review should be updated after the software update for the camera becomes available on April. It seem the picture quality for both low light and (significantly) in normal lighting conditions turns out much better.
I checked out in Xda and it turns out many of the review model and most probably this model used has a faulty lens issue that is fixed now and these updated models with better lens will appear in the final assembly line.
The news about Htc's software update should have been mentioned in the review though!!!
my aluminium unibody sony Xperia p is old now ! time for a new aluminium
AnonD-102880, 26 Mar 2013I respect the galaxy s4, it is a good phone, but i will go for Htc One!Thanks for the article.
Would it be possible to include the Vellamo Metal test score and the detailed breakdown from it?
There are some low level tests in there that are quite interesting (especially when the Exynos version of the GS4 comes out).
How much RAM do they use up at clean boot?
Do they end up having broken multi tasking like last year??
