Good camera and video, together with a decent screen is always welcome. However I wonder about the relevance of all the bloatware that manufacturers seem to think we want. I have a SIII and frankly I cannot be bothered to upgrade to a SIV as there is no great reason to do so. Yet I still use my BB9900 as my every day business mobile, which I will upgrade to a Z10. Why all the power is beyond me. I think relevant software is more important and that does not mean games.

1080p video isn't that sharp but frame rate satiable.

Can the narrow field of view on Galaxy s4 be widened using 3rd party software? Or Will samsung release update for it?
              It's disgustingly narrow. :S

Can you set the settings menu to DARK color? Because from what I see here it is white now - weird for an AMOLED screen.

The S Translator image for the Chinese translations is pretty funny:

                  http://cdn.gsmarena.com/vv/reviewsimg/samsung-i9505-galaxy-s4/sshots1/gsmarena_073.jpg

                  English: Please introduce your family.
                  Chinese: 你家都有什么人?
Actual meaning: Your family all have what [kinds of] people?

English: Let me introduce my family.
                  Chinese: 介绍一下我的家人.
Actual meaning: Introduce my family [to me].

The others are pretty good though :)

I'm upgrading from the SGII in the next 6 mounths or so. Not having an FM radio, is a big deal for me. Everytime I want to hear some random music I need to worry about my data plan? Hell no. I'll buy Xperia Z, or Note 2.

BTW GSMArena - How about a Xperia Z vs GS4 vs Note 2?

yes he is right to some extent, if u consider mate about the new technology sammy has nothing new to offer other then its thin baseline and extra cores( which seriously are not needed). If tnat would have been the case chinese companies wouldnt have copied what sammy copied , they cant copy sony,s new waterproof and dustproof body, htc,s new camera features, hdr video of experia , nokias pureview camera etc. Only few companies are making android popular otherwise without innovation there is no way a o.s can survive. Yes windows have some flaws but let it mature and we will have more features in lime pie and so on. Cos android has also come a long way and now we can see ubuntu, and sailfish in the near future, the o.s war is gettin interesting and bigger.

AnonD-78115, 29 Mar 2013Yes, grow up and stop getting fooled by stylish designs with no brain. Performance, features... moreIn some point I agree with you that features and function should be priority over design. But it is not that simple, let say GS4 offers you feature 10 points and design 7 points vs One offers you feature 9 points and design 9 points, which one you choose? I personally tend to seek balance, but maybe other people really dont care on design and definitely choose GS4 over One or other like Xperia Z. That is right, because smartphone nowdays is personal thing, just like watch or car.

[deleted post]Please know what you are using for god sake.

Windows Phone? Come back to me when you can attach more than 1 office documents or any file types to emails. Talk to me only when Windows Phone support wireless file transfer. Tell me more only when Windows Phone support HD screens.

Yes, Android has lots of cpu power. So what? That's because Android is a true powerful OS, unlike Windows Phone. I dunno whats your problem with having multicores. Windows Phones started without multicores too but look at all the windows phones now. All having multicores. So do you mean Windows Phones are getting slower too?

If you don't like Android phones, get out of this discussion then! If you don't like big screens and 13MP cameras, just get the hell out of here! No one is pointing a gun on your head to get S4. Simply as that. Why all the fuss and showing off all your nonsense? Please know what you are using, before giving advises.
