Horrible phone, a real shame. Chrome terribly slow so unusable. Impossible to install any application through google apps. Pre installed applications crash and close. Video player unusable. 100 pounds to the garbage!

And for people buying entry level phones that plays a really big factor. If they could afford something more expensive I doubt they would settle for the Xperia E.

Ignore E. Lumia 520 is THE best in this range. Keeping OS aside you get 1Ghz dual core krait, 512 RAM, 4' sreen, 5mp camera with lenses from 920 for low light imaging.
If OS compared android has more apps but windows 100% lag free and fast.

Most of the 3D apps can't run properly ... moreYoure definitely right about how smooth Windows Phone OS can be, even when running on the same specs as the E's. But I dont know what you mean by 3D apps? If you mean games then I suggest you get a handheld or a console gaming system. And if you mean any other 3D intensive app then you have the PC. Most smartphones and the currently available GPUs on them arent really capable in those categories compared to a gaming system or a PC. Either way you still get more apps on the Xperia E than on a Windows Phone.
Good things about WP is how smooth it is, and how cool the menus are.
Sony should come up with a phone running WP, a phone like the Z. That would be an amazing combination, both the phone and the OS with the most elegant design.
