AnonD-82756, 15 Jul 2013I will not touch another Asha device to many bad experience in them avoiding low end Nokia not... moreYoure missing out. The Asha 1.0 platform was completely redeveloped and Nokia did a very nice job. There is no comparison to the pre-1.0 Asha platform.

mandy, 17 Jul 2013friends in asha 501,can we minimize apps like as in android mobile?The Asha 1. platform works a bit differently. You swipe the App window to the left and you get the main menu. To get it back you either tap the app icon again or swipe the home screen to the right to see it listed in fastlane.

This is good phone at price point...and does what it promises....don't compare it with smartphone as it is more of a advanced feature phone but is much better than cheap android phones which I really don't know y people are buying as there is no battery backup and even a basic app like dialer hangs... I brought this phone as my secondary phone and quite happy with it.

If this new OS gets proper nourishment and treat it properly, this can be a better OS than WIndows 8. If a phone which costs less than Windows series can have all easily accessible menus like bluetooth and Wi-Fi, why cant manufacturers incorporate the same to Windows series? Seriosuly, If Nokia spends ample time and research on this Meego look alike OS, it is going to be a hit.
Asha got inspired by Lumia design.
Let Lumia/ Windows Phones get inspired by some of the Asha features too. Then it can be totally called a smartphone in all sense and then it will be awesomeness.
Persoanlly I have odered this phone for and waiting for the performance results.
PS: All the above said comments are based on the understanding of specs of the phone on PAPER.
