I have used phones from Apple, Blackberry, Nokia, Sony, Huawei and Samsung.

The Galaxy Note 3 is by far the best phone I have used. It is a pleasure to work with. The S-Pen is a great feature for work as I take many notes during the many meetings I attend.

I have the 9000 model (3G, octa core) which I bought in Cairo, unlocked, for US$ 530. So it is not an expensive phone either. For comparison, the Sony Z2 phone costs over US$ 900 here.

I can recommend this phone without reservation. The only issue that some people might have is the size. This is not a small phone.

Android v4.4.2 kitkat has already reached Kenya. My note 3 was upgraded OTA. Lovely. No issues, my phone works real fine.

Plastic, everywhere. Fake leather which is plastic, big size like laptop, ugly UI with Samsung UI all over it (still look like gingerbread) I hate this phone. I would be embarrassed personally to have a phone this big in public.

No thank you Samsung. Because of your policy on locking new phones to regions (and how you did it without a formal announcement of any type) my next phone will either be Sony or HTC.

why they missed acer liquid s2 which's from note3 biggest rivals... i know it's only 16gb but a Memory card can solve that... the 2GB RAM in my opinion is good enough other than that the phone rock and better than Note3 to some extend :)
