Nobody wants this much useless features. AMOLED and octa core are two big jokes.
Damn, this phone is wonderful. I'm definitely going for the next generation Note once it comes out next year - I love my original Note too much to replace it just yet. Samsung has put a lot of effort in this one, unlike last year when the just upscaled the SIII. I like it, a lot. The fact it boasts USB 3.0 blows my mind. All it lacks are stereo speakers but hey, who the hell watches movies out loud when on the train, right? I have drool all over myself... Can't wait for the full review.
I'd like to see a backlight comparison across all generation of Notes - a photo taken in a dark room of all three phones displaying a black image at full brightness - they're all AMOLED but still, I'd like to see the difference across the generations.
Tcool, 19 Sep 2013Go buy a bluetooth headset with FM radio.that's not smart at all.. lg G2 has fm radio.. why not to think about the simple customer ? we like fm radio..

The pictures... moreYou forgot to mention the part about the Note 3 photos that said "even though these are really good and look better than the ones from Note II and the Galaxy S4"
And this isn't even a retail device.
[deleted post]Quoting from the preview:
--- It feels sturdy and well put-together despite its primarily plastic build.
--- Then we get to the back, which (and we're not exaggerating here) is a massive improvement over the Note II back
--- this time around it has a great-looking leather texture. Best of all it feels similar to actual leather rather than a tacky imitation, and the faux-stitching is a great touch, too.
AnonD-168372, 19 Sep 2013I use FM radio more often than Music player.Go buy a bluetooth headset with FM radio.
[deleted post]You do know that Apple can't even maximize the 64bit chip on their new iphone, don't you? The iphone doesn't have the proper RAM and no multitasking whatsoever. The only way they gonna utilize it is for gaming and some apps. Because that's what iphones are, expensive toys. Just wait till next year when Samsung outs their 1st 64bit phone that will show the world what it is truly for.
yeah, 18 Sep 2013nobody uses an FM radio nowadays. Its 2013, not year 2004I use FM radio more often than Music player.
Anonymous, 19 Sep 2013"explicit request by Samsung we won't be posting any camera samples" The pictures... moreYou don't know what you're talking about. And iphone 5S is a joke compare to this all in one beast. This is a phone, a tablet, a mini computer, a drawing pad and a note pad, and its the most capable and the most feature-packed of any gadget out there! So, you know why your iphone is a joke right? Lol

The pictures sucked even on a 13MP camera compared to iPhone 5S hehe, thats why they are trying to resolve using software asap haha.
Well done Samsung - even though I think there is a lot of superfluous software built in. Once you discount the stuff you will never use or need, the upgrade is incremental, not radical as such. But still all that power and for what? I am more business orientated and apart from what should be a good camera, there is not not whole lot of upside in this device for me. In fact my S2 still does a great job, and I can never be without the best notebook. This is a great mobile, no doubt, but I dont really need it.
The version launched in Hong Kong only comes with a 16GB internal storage (both 3G and 4G LTE). Quite disappointing considering when official launch stated at least 32GB.
I think that I can not wait for the full review as I want to own Note 3 badly now. Unfortunately there's still no info about release date here in Germany.
yeah, 18 Sep 2013nobody uses an FM radio nowadays. Its 2013, not year 2004I don't use it much but its always good to have.
There are android apps that enable proper FM tuning anyway (not streamed).
Haters will now be going through the video frame by frame to find some sort of lag. :-)
The Note 3 looks great. Congratulations to Samsung on the build quality and new finishes. I am glad to see that the device has a bigger screen but is thinner, smaller and lighter and not following the 6"+ trend. As usual for a note, the screen sounds like the new benchmark!
