Am not an iphone fan but i did'nt find these disadvantage as main disadvantage mention by gsm areena. Plastic is
Glossy but fingerprints are hard to see coz of colors. Thicker but not so to be consider as disadvantage. No FM radio
but whats the LTE conectivity for? jst install the tune ine radio. Mono speakers but i did'nt find many people tend to
using loud speaker. Stuck with itunes but itunes is the best way to sync the content. Mono audio in vedio. no one notice that
and user replaceable battery. No one wants that. i seen no one since 2007 with iphone dead batter.

STANDS FOR CHEAP???come on now,like Apple would EVER discount ANYTHING.overpriced crap.laptops that crash,tablets that have little storage and have to be hooked up to iTunes to do anything,and are priced way too high.

Apple is an aspirational brand. Probably the most aspirational brand in the world. It may be too expensive for you, but it truly is popular. With over 300 luxurious Apple Stores worldwide it isn't just a bunch of people "calling their moms".
I understand. You can't afford it. That's fine. Buy what you can afford but don't hate those that can afford more than you.

PROBABLY THE ONLY TECH SITE WHICH talked about iphone 5c bei... moreDude, it isn't "cheap" plastic. Go to the Apple store and see for yourself. It's still a more premium plastic than any other plastic phone out there.
But the biggest thing from this review...
...GSM Arena staff's own phone of choice for the past year has been the iPhone 5. Staff and staff family members have chosen iPhone 5 as their everyday phone this last year.

- so that Iphone fans upgrading from Iphone 4s or Iphone 4, after their contract, will only choose the latest flagship Iphone 5s if they want the same AAA-grade feel an Iphone can offer.
- so that all excess spare parts of the not so successful Iphone 5 such as the glass and aluminum parts will all be used up for the iphone 5s.. this might mean that Apple is planning redesign Iphone 6 next year (probably bigger screen)

5C is there for people who want the latest phone feeling, not necessarily the latest technology, also it's tim cook's mastery of supply control, it's a lot easier to make the plastic 5C and 5S together then it would be to make the 5 and 5S. it actually is working out pretty well they were able to launch the product worldwide on the same day. The numbers don't lie. 9 million iPhones in one weekend. Apple Rules!!!!!!!!!!

Instead of pondering why why why. Work harder so that u can afford this phone. 5c look cheap, 5c have no premium feel. Why bother about premium feel if u are already a premium person. 5c is about refreshing something old. 5c is about color and fashion statement. If its not for u then go get 5s. The one who complains why this why that probably can't even afford 5c let alone 5s. Lol.

Last year when the iPhone 5 was released, many of the people who had an iPhone 4 actually chose to buy the iPhone 4S instead of the new iPhone 5 because the iPhone 4S was now heavily discounted and the new iPhone 5 barely offering anything new to justify the high price.
Apple noticed that and decided to stop it this time:
When they released their new iPhone 5S they also discontinued last year's iPhone 5 and instead released another "new" iPhone 5c which is basically the same phone as last year's iPhone 5 but because it is "new" it costs almost as much as the flagship iPhone 5S.
So all the people who had an iPhone 4s or older and were hoping for a price cut for last year's iPhone 5 now got screwed by Apple because Apple simply discontinued last year's iPhone 5, replaced it with an identical iPhone 5c which is barely cheaper than the iPhone 5S in order to push people into giving in and paying $100 extra to buy their new flagship.
To me, this is an extraordinary display of arrogance from Apple and the beginning of its downfall if it hasn't already started.
