xperia z1 should be seccond not 3rd. and why u didnot mention anything about the ability of shooting in rain and under water of xperia z 1, in features? that none of compititor can do it.so this will increase the place of z1 in features at least to 2nd place
So delighted that my Note 3 comes in second. Now I am waiting for 1020 as a gift from my brother and then have best of both worlds. Yayyyy
My opinion:
1st: 1020 easily
2nd: Xperia Z1
3rd: Note 3
Coz, Note 3 shines mostly in factors that do not matter much (like Panorama, 4K video, and some other feature which can be used only on High end Galaxy phones).
And Z1 shines in more important factors (Better stills both in Low Light and Good Light) where a camera ought to be mainly strong.
THX !!!!! Nice job ! I decide to get Note 3 by the camera and ... so many features ! Video 60fps etc

I would pick htc one after 1020. Good lightning photos are similar when you upload them online which is why I use my phone. And it's low light quality is unmatched except Nokia smartphones. Mobile cameras are greater than needed this year kudos to all phone manufacturers. They all have something nice to offer us. Thanks for this detailed comparison by the way.
Of course Nokia!!!
Go away android craps
holy mother....that 1020 low light photo is freaking crazy
wow it was just a great job Gsmarena's Guys , its high quality compression , thank you .
i think almost all the smartphones now a days has the same features.
for me, smartphone should have excellent battery, decent camera, fast internet, handy, light, durable, and of course, with very good company services.
Nice shootout GSMA... loved it :)

First page, 4th Paragraph.
It's a new unit - it says so one the very first page of the article.
1/1.5" is actually 4x the surface area of 1/3"

Hi GsmArena Team,
Just read your 6 phone shootout review.
Posting this comment for the 2nd time. My first one is missing. (Gsmarena is not honest here, I feel)
I just want to know which Xperia Z1 unit is used for the review?
Is it the pre-production unit which was used for the phone's main review (which was very unfair, and you guys ought to do a re-review)?
Or is it a retail version having the latest software version??
Please clarify!!

Contradiction.
3 words: 4k video recording.
As expected, Lumia 1020 is the winner. I was so much waiting for the comparison between Z1 and 1020 but Z1 still didn't stand up against the 1020 beast. Though, Z1 along with the Note III but came at the 3rd place.
It's a highly unbiased camera comparison as always. Thank you GSMArena. You people are simply the best.
underwater photography is very fun only z1 can do lol
