According to a new rumor out of China, the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 will be made official later this month - July 25 to be precise. Although the device has already been the subject of some rumors, this is the first time we're hearing a specific unveiling date for it.
The new rumor also reveals some key specs of the phone - 5.7-inch display, 6GB RAM, and Snapdragon SoC - as well as an RMB 2,499 ($375) price tag. If you compare, these details are in line with what previous rumors had revealed.
From what we've heard before, the Mi Note 2 will land in as many as three variants, with the lower end model sporting a full HD resolution, while that of higher end ones will be QHD. The devices will pack in a large 4,000mAh battery, and feature a fingerprint scanner as well as force touch and fast charging tech.
The higher-end models will come with dual 12MP rear cameras. As for memory configuration, the Mi Note 2 is said to come in 4GB/32GB, 6GB/64GB, and 6GB/128GB options.
