hazel: i've had this phone for 1 & half years. go to settings, then go to connectivity & then to irda, press ok & activate it to recieve stuff. infrared is on the left side of the phone.
to send stuff: press options on that object, press ok on send by, select irda & thats it.

this is a very good fone. even though it says it has polyphonic ringtones if you record a sound you can make that your ringtone, just like a true tone:D
