I recently purchased an Unlocked Samsung Impression to use on my T-Mobile service. I am able to browse the internet using my T-Mobile data plan. However, some of the data features (Mobile E-mail) and apps are pre-configured to work on AT&T's service. Does anyone know how to unlock those features, or delete them from the phone?
Again no wi-fi as it is now a crucial specification for phones!!!! What r u doing SAMSUNG!!!

1. haptic feedback vibration-vibrates when touch
2. accelerometer-changes texting style easier when
move phone around.
3. perception sensor-phone locks when put to ear
No, however after you make a call it locks automatically which is annoying as... you know. Sliding the keyboard unlocks it.
I've had a Samsung Impression for two days and really like it. The last few phones I've used have all been Nokia's so this is quite a learning curve for me.
I'm still trying to figure somethings out, but overall, I really like the Impression and would recommend it.
Pra, 16 Apr 2009What is UI???? And what is the purpose of giving 190Mb internal memory? 190 mb internal memory is for all your phone book logs, messages and maybe a couple of songs
this phone is very well put together and is blazing fast. the design is great and the OS works very well along with it. i had a great time with it when my friend let me borrow it.
I am getting a new phone soon...and i like this phone but i like the Lg Xenon and i cant decide what phone to get? what do you think i should get
Real phone, design, perfomance, features are beyond measure, gives you all that one need to get from a real phone,
Anonymous, 14 Apr 2009Really it does have WiFi? All of the other comments said it ddidn't and that it is useless!!! ... moreActually it doesn't have wifi.. i hate samsung and motorola phones.. so expensives and no features.. you better get a SE or a Nokia.. that's the best choice yo can make..! :)
But if it's not a smartphone, the GPS will be used ONLY for getagging? Won't I be able to use Google Maps or other system for orientation? I really like my Nokia E71 but plan to change to a model like this one, with a full QWERTY keyboard sliding. The new E75 might be my choice if this one doesn't let me use maps the way I do now in E71.
Ompraamapod, 10 Apr 2009Design is ok but no WiFi, useless..its not a smartphone, so it doesn't have to have wifi
if you're looking for wifi choose a smartphone
the impression is just a feature phone based on multimedia and texting.
