this windows phone is awesome! nokia lumia is rubbish phone ever! if you are good in specs of all smart phone brand. or windows phone brand. you know the "nokia" is not in the list have a good specs. mark my word. nokia is bullshit! rubbish! anyway i am not a salesman or working in samsung company i am a costumer who bought this phone. and for me this phone is better than to nokia lumia "rubbish". the hell hahaha!. nokia is rubbish forever.

If you want to throw away some money, just throw them away, you don't have to buy this crap. Can not be compared to any Lumia. The only people who write good words for ativ s here are the ativ s salesmen, don't believe their lies. Just have in mind that wpLumias compete with Android samsungs with double specs. A wp samsung? Yuck!

Ive gone from an O2 smartphone this new phone - when attempting a "partnership" with my lap top - which recognises the phone and installs the driver/s - with my old phone an icon was auto place on the desktop - with the new phone this isnt so?

After 3 Lumia 920 changes, the store gave me this Ativ S, despite my concerns regarding Samsung, but I must confess, it surprised me. Great pictures, pretty stable (instead Nokia Freezes) for a Windows Phone, very light compared to Lumia 920 and the battery life longs for a day and a half. Highly recommended for everyone that have to get a proper business phone with all the office resources you need on your hand and don't want to be plugged at wall all the time.

It's a good phone... I would recommend it to those who want to use WP8 phone... I have used Android and WP, and I would say that this is the best one... It's just some people never try it and keep judging that make it not so popular

Hi,
Samsung Ativ S is about IDR 5,000,000 in Indonesia market or about in US$ 513. I just got one 3 days ago.
Screen is remarkable, but back cover made from plastic make it looks cheap stuff. Battery can sustain 24 hours for normal uses, like open email, browsing, customizing. But I am a little bit disappointed while playing back musics. I can not found equalizer, and sound is so flat. Cheaper Android, Lenovo S890 have better play back music features and sound quality.
More review will come after more exploration.

ativ s works well, very reliable, long battery life, great screen. upgraded from iphone 3gs. I use it for emails, internet, sms, solitaire, i.e. the basics. I love the tiles and large text.

Samsung should make few WP (SAtiv series) like Android (SGalaxy series) Nokia HTC Huawei making WP series. We are now boring with Android OS. Apple OS BlackBerry 10 also are better and stronger OS.
