Should I go for the Ativ S (WP) ... moreWell, you don't need customization and flashing on a system that is almost perfection. If you don't like micromanaging every aspect of your phone (like on Android) and you can settle with little but yet many customization WP8.1 is offering than go for the ATIV S i8750. It is mention that it will be able to run on the new Windows 10, but so far anything is speculation regardless to any WP phone.
I am not planning to change my ATIV S in near future (read: Until start to fall apart, lol), cuz now with the latest official (not PfD) WP8.1.1 is a totally new device, it is re-born again. I am loving it! :)

I'm a rom junkie user when it comes to android but now im thinking of sttling down to wp which to me looks great and is epic with 8.1
Do you think I should make the jump and switch to Windows Phone (Ativ S)?

Only ATO for now. Other on waiting ...Also confirmed CSC's getting the newest 8.1.1 (or WP8.1 GDR1) are: NEE, BTU, DBT, ETL, PHN, TGY.
Also the one running 8.1 Preview for Developers, who have ATO or BTU will get the samsung firmware and becoming 8.1.1

equalize... moreJunN, There is a new Diagnosis tool in 8.1. What you have to do is to uninstall the previous one, get the stock dialer and again with the same code ##634# install the Diagnosis app for 8.1. The new Diagnosis app for 8.1 will be called: Diagnosis_Ody81

ATO. I can also report that I am frequently getting 'fast battery discharge' message since the update. Not happy about it at all. In general, battery draining faster than before.

Is it ATO or NEE or something else? Do have in mind that having WP8.1 Preview for Developers doesn't count, we are only interesting is that is an Official Samsung 8.1 firmware.

For that kind of money it is really an awesome phone.
I upgraded it to Window Phone 8.1 with GDR1 and it is still working like a charm!
