If some one buys from there and something goes wrong then who will take care of after sales service ?

Is Samsung really interested in selling this B7722 in India or is it taking this launch lightly since it has a monopoly in Dual Sim 3g mobiles ?

Some other company should also come out with a similar and cheaper mobile so that Samsung wakes up.

i guess the mobile is not yet in the indian market. since there was some ommission from the brand initially in this new dimention of dual sim, i am quite surprise to notice to see that we need not have to reboot the set to choose default sim for outgoing calls in few new models. it brought another joy in me knowing the launch of 5 mp wifi 3g dual sim from samsung. i am eagerly waiting for the set in market bt i am quite skeptical at the same time whether the same ommission has been repeated with regard to the problem. so please help

(1)GSM + GSM---NO,will not work.

(2)CDMA + GSM---NO IDEA but seems will not work

(3)WCDMA + GSM---YES,will work (be it of same or different operators).Further only SIM1 will support WCDMA(3G)SIM.

I bought this phone a week ago and have tested almost all the features.
Till now, I noticed two problems.
1- The calendar allows only 200 entries, which make a professional use not easy.
2- You cannot allow more than one unique connection to an application. For exemple, you cannot decide to connect to internet first with your wifi and second with your operator network.

If anyone here, have some answers to these 2 comments, I will appreciate.

Bought one of them while travelling through the states, and had some of the problems people mentioned.but using the comment of somebody else here that the two sims may not be Quad bands I ran some more tests and came up with this:If u try to use two sims of the same band,eg.two 850 bands, only one will work,at a time and u have to reboot the ph.each time to switch from one to another, switching them by the side button does not cut it.The main trick of the bands is that one seems to be Quad while the other is dual or triband.so u have to use a 850 band chip and a 900 band chip and use the 850 as the default one,and the phone will pick up and switch as intended.because only one side is quad so what the ph. does is use one and dump the other,if u use two of the same, that's the reason for the re-boothing.But remember the 850 one has to be made the default one,or what I told u won't work.because if u make the 900 one the default one,it will pick up yes,but the 850 that u put in the 900 band won't pick up anything. So again the trick of the phone concerning the band segment is for you to find yourself two different bandwith carriers not two of the same.the other problems I found were too many of it's files were locked so u couldn't share ring tones with a friend through bluetooth, and it won't play the files recorded on another ph."s memory card. But I don't know how to get around that part.

I do have a Samsung SGH-980 where both SIMs are Triband capable. both of my SIM cards work at the same time. Recently I bought the GT-B7722 and installed both of my SIM cards to discover only on work at a time. The box indicated that SIM is quad band capable and SIM 2 is duak band capable!
I am really disappointed as only one SIM card works on this unit and reboots every time the second is on
