HI i've purchased samsung champ duos mobile last month. initially i had the same doubt because they don't gave any option like this. But accidentally i tried one day through the voice recorder in the phone it's finally the call is recorded. so during a call use voice recorder to record calls, but i'm not sure that it will be possible in this hand set. you try. fine

I fully agree with Mr.ronn87 comments. I am also user of 6 months facing the same problem. I sent to customer care in the firt day itself for repeatadely restart problem. Why company is not releasing any updation firmware to solve the issues.

I am using this phone for the last 10 months and believe me day by day it is getting worse and hence disreputing the brand name.It is based on a low bandwith 3g platform(3.6 Mbps) and does not really serve the full 3g experience as offered by the service provider company(airtel/aircel etc).Moreover hanging is one of the greatest setback of this phone as it hangs a lot and hence incoming calls get missed or even it takes minutes to make a call or send a simple text sms and offcourse it will get stuck or hang unless and untill the message delivery report comes,no matter how much u press the end key or the back key or try doing something with the touch panel,it wont work at all.It cannot send group smses.Maximum number of recipients it can deliver a single sms is 6.otherwise it gets hanged again or shows the message 'unsuccessful'.Internet browsing is again a major problem as the browser is really slow and takes time to load a simple wap page.Adding to this it even shows a message sometimes 'page too large too display' which however doesnot make any sense.One of the greatest problem is that sometimes it shows a message 'not enough memory resources,close application' and the application or whatever one is doing with the phone is stopped immediately though there is no more than one application running at that particular point of time.It may happen while you are viewing the photos on the phone,zooming them or listening to music etc etc.While playing music sometimes it happens that the sound gets cracked and hence disturbs the music listening experience a lot.Now talking about the camera quality,the 5 megapixel offers a decent image quality but here again there are drawbacks.Sometimes when the pics are viewed on the phone screen or n the pc after transferring them,one can suddenly find out that only a portion of the image is present while the rest of the pic is replaced by a gray line.Mysteriously the other half of the image is lost.Well samsung can also market this product by terming it as a Magic Phone,a few other remaining pieces in the market might get sold then.It has got a decent touch screen(resistive),no call recording facility,no video player software,not a single full version game(all the trial games need to be purchased) and a very normal user interface.There is also a bluetooth problem while exchanging multimedia contents with other models of the same brand or other.I just want to ask samsung why has this phone been launched if they were aware of the problems.They must have gone through a test period for this phone before they launched it in the market or are they treating the customers as their testing machines for which one has to pay approximately R.11500 hard earned bucks.Are the samsung mobile R&D department engineers listening to this or they too have got themselves into the 'hanging' mode...?????....If this goes on noone can ever rely on samsung products and hence all the present customers or the prospective ones will turn their attention to other brands no matter how much the company endorse the products with eminent personalities.A quick solution for the present mobile owners must be given or an updated firmware version solving these issues must be released as soon as it is possible.
