Hello to everyone.
Can anybody please confirm if this phone can actually read documents such word, pdf, xml and ppt?
Thank you very much!
AdaM, 20 Jun 2009yes, there is Record Conversation under the Options menu once your call is connected. it is on... moreAdaM, I own both D880 and B5702 and these phones don't have call conversation. I can't understand how come Samsung included this very useful feature in C5212 but not in the other top of line DuoS models. What country are you from? Perhaps this is a regionalized feature.
I own B5702 but not this phone. In B5702 there is a C key that works for deletion of practically anything. I don't see the same key in this mobile, how do you delete items? Using left softkey then OK?
To anyone having problems using the switch network button: to make a call using the other SIM, simply type in the number OR search it in the call log / phonebook ** BEFORE ** you press the side button for switching networks. The correct operation is, first you dial or find the number and ONLY THEN you press the switch button. This is the order of your thinking, not the contrary.
You don't select operator first and then the outgoing number: doing so will make the phone reboot so the new default SIM will be set.
Remember, as this is not that much difficult: first choose the number, only then press the side button for dialing. Same goes for SMS: first write the SMS and choose destination, only after you press the side button for switch network.
Please folks spread this info! There is so many people asking this very same thing and even returning their mobiles claiming malfunction.
How many SMS can this phone store? You can set MP3 ring tones, right? How is the Samsung PC software for this phone, can you create backups of your contacts, SMS, etc, like in Nokia's PC Suite? Thanks in advance

This phone is crap. I purchased this phone only for one purpose which is not fulfilled by this piece of junk. I'm using AirTel and CellOne SIMS. I use AirTel for calling purposes and BSNL for messaging. I have to reboot so many times a day. I would rather suggest others to go for a Chinese phone which works really good in this case. At least SAMSUNG could have given an option while dialing that from which SIM you want to Call or Send SMS. I'm going to change my phone very soon.
