Noob, 30 Jun 2011can this phone sync with outlook contact?
If yes , what tools being used?
You can sync to outlook, google, and even yahoo using the program included. If you dont have the cd, then you can download it of the Samsung site.
there are two links in this page, one for pc, and one for mac.
You will also find lots of relevant info there.
is internal memory w/c is 54mb for this unit is same w/ phone memory? bcoz i had only one application installed w/ my samsung ch@322 w/c is 1.6mb only but then i cannot install other applications anymore bcoz it says "not enough phone memory"...
feature-packed model but i am not too fond of the keypad.keys are so tiny that i felt like i am tiptoeing when i text long messages. i prefer the keypad of the later t222 model with flatter/wider keys.
nice features cute looks and very handy with very nice sound quality and nice camera over all a perfect dual sim phone value for money

This is a very nice handset, and I would like Samsung to have the following additions to this wonderful handset:
-> Dual SIM Active DUOS functionality.
-> A good 1650 mAh or higher Li-Po battery.
-> At least a 5mpx Good quality Auto-focus camera with 30fps video recording and Dual LED flash.
-> Support for all audio and video file formats.
-> At least a 800 Mhz processor and a stable OS that wont hang up.
I want this handset for basic telephony, messaging and quick snap photography functions; and not for internet or sns. For that I prefer the Galaxy.

Its true that the manual mentions files like pdf, doc, txt etc on page 57, but if you turn the page, you'll find a note at top of the page 58 that says 'Some file formats are not supported depending on the software of the phone.' A user (nickname jxpmack) commented on 'chat 335's page' on gsmarena that he has seen a chat 335 which supports these file types while others don't. So I think some of the units have this support as samsung says it depends on the software.
Nevertheless you can search a site called '4shared.com' for 'mobile doc viewer' and 'mobile pdf viewer' to get third party softwares which support doc and pdf file types though with some limitations.
And you can post your comments and queries on 'chat 335's page' for better responses.
i used comment for installing Application.
then i delete all games still yet it not support.still it gives an error JAR file is invalid plz suggest me..
what can i do nw....
plz plz plz
This is a good set, except the letters on the keyboard are small because English and Urdu letters both are printed on each key that makes ENGLISH letters hard to see, other than that no problems.
i buy samsung chat322 ,but when i use internet, it becomes too hot and difficult to touch
i am planning to buy samsung punch. but i just want to ask if i can change its themes? or can i download themes for it?
I have recently bought a samsung mobile phone (samsung chat 335) from carphonewarehouse. The user manual that came with the phone and mentions the right model number on it, mentions that PDF,TXT, PPT, DOC file formats can be opened by the phone amongst other file formats a MP3, JPG .etc (page 57). I am able to open music files(mp3) and image files (jpg) as the manual claims but have been unable to open PDF, TXT, PPT, DOC files amongst others which the user manual claims the phone can open as well.
I have contacted technical support and customer support at Samsung mobiles and they too have not been able to open the named file formats on the same handset at their end. They asked me to send the scanned pages of the manual that claims so. I did so last week and they came back to me asking to clarify if the phone has enough memory. As the phone has additional memory from a card, I clarified it and said it cannot be an issue with a small memory. I did not get any reply from the company since then. So, I followed up with calling them this morning. Their response today was that these file formats (PDF, PPT, DOC .etc.) can be supported by the phone but relevant software has to be acquired from a third party to do so. They were unable to point me to any third parties who may have software that is compatible to the phone to do these activities. Please note that the manual makes no such mention in any way. When I asked that how come then other file formats mentioned on the user manual in the same context can be opened, I was confronted with rudeness apart from anything else. Moreover, strangely enough the user manual they see at their end does not claim these file formats to be supported by the phone.
A single table on the user manual(which is the topic of all the above argument, page 57) which mentions all file types that the phone supports include ones which the phone currently is able to open and is UNABLE to open without even any fine print mentioning what the samsung representatives have mentioned me now.
Have any other samsung chat 335 owners faced the same problems and have had any solutions so far- If so please do share it with me and if not I guess Samsung has just made some false claims with the chat 335!
