For those in the United States waiting for the Coral Blue color variant of the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ smartphones, here's some good news: the company has confirmed that the model will be available for purchase in the country starting tomorrow (July 21).

Among retailers, the new color option will be exclusive to Best Buy - both unlocked as well as carrier variants will be available from the retailer. In addition, Samsung will also be directly selling the model, but only unlocked units.

For a limited time, Best Buy will also be offering "up to $400 off the retail price of the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ with a qualified purchase or activation." In addition, Samsung "will also feature a limited time promotion of $150 off the retail price for both the Coral Blue and Midnight black versions of the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+."

Don't know about shattering (that's mostly down to luck) but my S8+ has scratches ALL over, front and back. I haven't used a case (but I also never did on any other phone) but wow, this thing scratches really easily.

Imagine not getting the Midnight Black. It looks heaps and bounds better than any other color. Only the Orchid Grey can be comparable, I guess.
