In answer to all the questions about zooming...
When taking a shot.. the Volume control flips the image through vertical and horizontal.
When the shot's already been taken, the volume control zooms the image in and out.

I heard you can zoom in and out on photos taken by the fone using the side(volume)button.
I got a question though. What happens when you transfer/receive files using the D500. Does it show a loading bar or a percentage? Someone with the phone please respond.

i got my D500 last week, played with the feautres, after having nokias for so long the sms writing takes a lil getting used to but this phone totally rocks, today i recieved a bluetooth dongle i ordered for $30 including shipping off ebay and they communicate well, already loaded 4 songs and downloaded movies and pictures i have taken, the process is excellent!!
i love this phone, the design, battery life and everything about it is excellent. only downfalls have already been mentioned b4 but ill add again, the vibrate in ringtones could work better and theaddition of a memory card slot would b good but overall the phone ROCKS!!

Just got this fone can anyone tell me how to get it to ring more than twice before it goes on to voicemail. The setting is on vib & melody I keep missing all my calls cos I dont hear them & keep havin to pick up from voicemail

im thinkin of buyin the D500, but i aint too sure. i am tossing up between this and the k700i, but i like flip/slider phones!!! is the d500 worth buying??? can sum1 name all the good and bad features for me plz!!! and dont say 'it dont have radio' coz i dun care! thanx ppl, ciaoz!

the add for this fone was so impressive that i just had to go and buy it , its a beautiful fone , never seen anything this sleek , but was dissapointed with its menu graphics ,its being sold as an executives fone but the menu looks like it was made for kindergarten kids , the 1.3 megapixel camera is not so good as the nokia fones or even the sony erricssons k 700i and that was a let down but everthing else bout it like the mp3 player and the ringtones and bluetooth is excellent , wish it had a radio but then nothing is ever perfect , if you are thinking of buying one .. go ahead , youre worth it !!

dis fone is da nuts. i highly recomend every 1 to get 1. ive had 1 one 4 a while now and i love it get 1 now or be so far behind youll never catch up...

what so great about this phone n i see sony ericsson better than this crap phone n i like samsung n since its their 1st bluetooth phone n have bugs in them too n its sony who invented bluetooth n now their dominate the mobile world n hello moto n sony are best n nokia won just because user friendly n even old man also connecting to nokia thats y n y nypd blue bye bye bye

I brought two D508 last week & I am quite satisfy with it. The screen is clear; the function is easy to use & the battery standby time is excellent........BUT this is not a computer as some stupid people expected from a business phone!!!!!!!

Could someone please help me connect my phone and have the program working? The computer detects the phone (USB) but when i put the PIM manager on and goto settings, i can't choose any port numbers. Please help!

i think this fone is terrible there is absolutely no point in making a business fone and not including OS. i am stil trying to work out how to text a text message it is appauling. this is a poor fone 1/10.
