I have this phone!! It is incredible the user interface is very simple and intuitive. Their first attempt at bluetooth is excellent and the use of mp3 as ringtones works well. You can also assign mini mp4 movies as ringtones as well as caller id's my mother in law is currently dart sidius!!
It's no groundbreaker and I feel it will only be my phone until something a little more substantial appears. All of you who said it looked great in black will be disappointed when you see its shiny black veneer... I plumped for the smokey grey which looks good. All in all a good fone but nothing that my K700i wasn't!?!?!?
This is the most beautiful phone, I have ever seen. All I can say about him is that,he rocks.
damm the phone is available in singapore at 1k plus.. which is definately not worth the price... camera is not good nor better than other 1mp cams... build quality is same as e630 i assume? coz e630 build quality is crap... with juz implememtation of bt. i dun tink its worth it afterall...
The D500 would be perfect if only it had fm radio and ext slot for memory cards. Anyhow, when is this beauty coming to Malaysia and the price? Could anyone info? Thank you..
Does the samsung play mp4 clips?
"In the spec it says mp4 playback support, the phone takes videos in .3gp? I havent seen it mentioned anywhere else, anyone no the truth? cheers"
For JERSEY BOY. I had downloaded the samsung software (from samsung site) and loaded it onto laptop, this included a driver which I loaded on to be safe as well. You then have to go into connections on the phone and put the ir on. When phone near computer it should pick it up. Then just transfer files as you would normally do with ir.
A Wondeful gsm,the only thing that bothers me lot,is that it doesn't have symbian OS!!
This phone has one big weak point: no SD card slot! This means you are stuck with 96Mb memory, which is not enough for both pictures and MP3s.
I think this is the first phone samsung
built with bluetooth but still lack of mms card & radio. Hence went will arrive to Singapore. Hope to see soon.
How did you do the IR transfer for MP3 tones, haven't managed to suss it out yet? I have WinXP as well. Any help would be great - Cheers!
