this phone is incedible and if your tempted to buy the d600 dont because the d500 is better (read features etc).the d500 has 300h and d600 has 220h etc. the d600's only thing better then d500 is the camera but apart from that the d500 is better.oh and the memory on d500 is 96mb and d600 is 80mb.save money!!!!

if ur on 02 then if u type *0# then ur message (no space after) u can get a report =)

I got this fone on Saturday for my 15th birthday. i upgraded from the e330 which I loved and i think this fone is even better. the camera, mp3 player and memory are brilliant!
the slide function is very smooth and i have been assured it will last.
I have been told that you can connnect it to your computer by a connection kit which is not expensive but I'm yet to come across one of these. You can transfer things from computer to phone and from phone to computer through this. If you are unable to get this you can also send pictures from the phone to the computer through a multimedia message to your email address, this is fairly easy!
The phone is simple to use and is easy to get used to.
I personally love samsung phones and also got it on o2 which is my prefered network.
All in all I love the phone so far and highly recommend it to all people of any age =)

to slb for life ,,,youve bought it on orange havnt you and its not posssible to get rid of the orange homescreen ,,,its been a question in one of the uk s leading fone mags & they said no as well but they may make it turn offable on future smarfones..Could orange be the new vodafone live????

Do not buy this phone or any other slider from Samsung. Only about 6 months and the slider is beginning to jam. Apparently, everday use voids the warranty. POS.

I have had the d500 for about 5 months and it is satisfying me pretty well but i dont know how to change the message tone to my downloaded tones and i cant change my incoming call tone to my recordings!!!

Same question as others-can any1 tell me how to download songs to my mp3 player, i have samsungD500. I tried buying a data cable and disc-no go and a dongle(r sumthin!) but that wont work either. I can send songs from my phone to pc alright. Somebody email me and help me please !!!!!!!!!!

hi. can someone tell me why the heck this phone won't allow me 2 download any applications onto it! it is so frustrating - whenever i try to download any app onto it, it says install error, every time. please, someone help me! i'm losing my mind. i would greatly appreciate your help. beryl.

wat kind of videos can b dowmloaded to the phone because i tried to transfer 1 from my computer but when it finished and i tried to play it, it said "not supported content" .
and also is the phone compatible with mp4 songs?

I hav been using the 500e for over 5months now and id say its pretty much has satisfied ma phone needs....jus one thing ..how do you change the message tone if you want custom ones...maybe even mp3??

Is this phone better than the samsung e730. I want the e730 but it is a little for and is too much to me. Will the phone's slider parts wear out in a year or sooner?
