well samsung D500 is a good phone,but my own D500 is having a problem which i never expected of it it just happed that anytime i try listening to mp3 musics the internal speaker seizes and it takes hours at times a day before it normalises although it was not like that at the point i bought the phone,but it suddenly developed d problem on a day that i was listening to my mp3 musics and even at times gets hot when in use,pls i need an assistance, my imei number is 35609400 527374/6 and i will be so glad if i am been assisted.

i've had this phone for a well... and haven't hated any second of it. the memory is awesome! there's so much you can do and get! i love this phone... it's the best samsung has made... com'on it won an award!

nice phone butdamaged it with some water.how can i transfer numbers from phone to sim before it goes caput altogether.will let me transfer sim to phone but not other way round.

well to be honest, i think the d500 is alot better than the d600, the d600 does not have infrared and when its closed it does not show the time like the d500, my girlfried has the d500, she has had it over 6 months and nothing has gone wrong with it,so if u want a new phone, get the d500

well. i just bought a d500 recently. i love it already. But theres one thing i dont get, is tehre a cover for the battery hole so dust wont get in it??

u can use a bluetooth dongle and connect it to your pc so dat u can transfer files and images using bluetooth to your mobile.
and to u ???,
maybe your d500 is a faulty set. why dont you go n change your mobile by claiming the warranty?

is there a difference between the Black Samsung ? because my one is a SGH-d500 is there a difference because on the video recording it is only for a few seconds and my friend who has the other D500 records up to 4 1/2 mins at a time

my friend who as this phone (im getting it 4 xmas) sed 2 me that she used her bluetooth to get pictures from her pc how can she do this please help me as she wont tell maybe shes lyin i dont kno so could some1 tell me wetha this is true or not ????????????????

small compact and nice, the d500 fits in your hand and is very comfortable
transfering images, mp3 and video (3gp format)
can be done with the samsung usb drivers and pc studio v2.0
you can set mp3's as ring tunes as well, so no more polyphonic
camara is good for a phone, and at 1.3 mega pixels is very good,
black screen can accure along with a pure white screen in some cases, but this can be sovelved by having the ribbon cable inside the phone sorted out ( caused by it working lose from fittings )
blue tooth is good and works well tho the tranfer speed of the usb and blue tooth as still kinda slow,
theres no way of entering a phone number into the phone from a missed call so you will have to use the menu for it
YOU CAN UP LOAD GAMES ON TO THE PHONE FROM A USB CABLE OR BT DONGLE ( google is your friend )
very goood mp3 play back and a loud phone on the handset its self, just dont expect much base lol,
all in all a very good phone, with mp3 playback, video play back, java games, flash for the camara (very bright too) and loads of other cool functions

This is a great looking phone but it doesn't have voice dialling which you would expect at that price.
Also, when texting it always defaults to multitapping every time you go to write an sms. You have to select T9 (predictive) before you can start every time - what a pain. The user should be able to select either and the phone should stay on it.
I checked with Samsung and they said that most of their phones do default to T9 but this one doesn't. I asked if there might be a software update coming out to fix it and was told there was nothing planned in the future for this partcular phone.
