people say its a runor about the white screen and buttons stopping working but there is some truth in it but not important. It happens to people who sit there sliding their phone open and closed constantly. It loosens the screen ribbon and looses contact but phone doesnt break, it would be fixed by removing 4 screws and pusing it back in. DONT GET ME WRONG I LOVE THIS PHONE AND IM NOT PUTTING ANYONE OFF- AS LONG AS YOU DONT SLIDE IT OPEN AND SHUT 24/7 FOR THE HELL OF IT NOTHING WILL HAPPEN!!!!!!

my screen keeps on going white and only half the buttons work it keeps freezing so i hav to take the bettery ouy and nearly bend the phone for the screen to work for a nother couple of mins

Has anyone had any problems with this handset dropping calls?
My friend has one and it keeps dropping the call without even connecting!

hi guys,
Those who were claiming about screen defects are fraud or fake. They are just spreading rumors about those popular cellphone, specially the superior samsung screens. I have noticed that whenever a samsung phone is a hit in the market (ex. e700, e800, e715,e720 and now d500), critics will come out with a comments about the screen. I know, the critics are just fooling around for they cannot put a best phone down because all they are saying are not always true specially the screen issue.
All I can say to those frauds (critics) is "nice try lo*ers".

I have a big problem with my d500..i was taking a picture of someone who was behind a neon..after taking that photo my display became all white and no colours seem to appear..i've waited for several hours and nothing happened.what should i do?will this problem resolve itself or should i go to a service and replace my display?HELP ME PLZZZZ!!!

When i try to use bluetooth or infrared on my phone it says 'bluetooth activate error' and the same on infrared.has anybody else encountered this problem and if so has anybody fixed it?any help would be greatly appreciated.thanks

I brought the D500 on a plan a couple of months ago and i have had no problems with it...The cloest thing to a problem was when my alarm clock stopped working, and then i realised i had it on PM instead of AM...duh!! All this talk of white screen and easy to crack screen is foriegn to me!! Dunno what u guys r on about!! - maybe u arent using it properly!!

this is the best phone ever i've had it for 4 months it works extremely well. i didn't have problems dealing with what other people have posted regarding the white screen. i dropped it in water and it still works! for my old phone the motorola v400 the volume totally crashed when i dropped it in water, but this phone is amazing i can still hear perfectly it's amazing.

well i dont actually hav this fone and am asking for the samsung e350 instead,but the k700 is gud for pictures and recording.it also has good battery life too.u get headphones with it as well for mp3's which im not sure how u do them.

I've recently encountered problems creating wallpaper for this phone using the Samsung Image Editor. Before I can get the correct resolution (176 x 144). But for some reason, all the wallpapers that I create with the Image Editor is (128 x 126). Does anyone know why? Please help!!!
