ive used a d500 for 5years, my two kiddies have twrown it around on tiles and i have never once had a problem.
electronical items can let you down at any time but i aint complaining.

The phone is on mute with u, press and hold the hash key, that will put the volume on for u then!!! ;)

my dekstop does not show whole wallpaper but also desplays some menue like calls, messages, etc , how to get complete wallpaper on screen??

This I cannot believe because in my case i... morei dropped mine in a pint of orange squash recently - accidentally of course :) stripped it quickly and ran it under the tap to wash out the sticky juice then laid it on a teatowel on the radiator to dry out
i left it for 24hrs drying then tried it - nothing doing - went out for the evening and when i got back it was working again :) still going strong now - great phone

i have been using my d500 for 5 years,didnt have any trouble at all,i've accidently touched it with water on my hands and fallen many times. really really good phone, still using it.

its a nice phone but once it starts giving u problems u wont like it.I've got one & the camera jus stopped working,cant get it fixed

i had one and the screen was blank when i tried to open the slide, and also its always restart itself

terrible waste of money, looks the part but once it starts giving trouble "bin it" my screen went blank,graphics and logo used to freeze regularly , always had to remove battery to try to restart(pain in de rear) on a scale of 1 to 10 afraid it would be in the minus region!!!! rep of ire former samsung customer!! thank you.

i had one but the quality of the graphics deteriorated immensly after bout 12 months very very disappointed with it to be honest!!!!! may be a monday morn or friday evening produced phone!!!! bought tocco recently and well impressed samsung!!!

It has got some dust caugh... moreHey guys i have exactly the same problem with my D500..im into the beach a lot and i think the dust or sand prob is mine also..no response digitally or audio from the keypad ..only some keys work..so cant even use as a back up sms phone..what was the solution u may have found out???? ..and can i send it to Samsung repairs in Perth Western Australia..i love the phone..but not at the present time when not working....please reply to fwlhrg@yahoo.com.au..cheers from Kev.
