My question is 'can it be affected by virus or any form of threat if I download song or video through bluetooth or Infra red to it.
This Phone Was Good At A point of Time, One Morning I Woke Up The Phone Was Not Coming On I Thought That The Phone Was Dead I Charge It For 1Hr, It Never Came On... I Was Really Disappointed.. I Carry it To The Repair Center And They Said That There Don't Know Want Was The Problem Another Disappointment... Anyway Nokia Is The Best So Peace out.....
Samsung, 14 Oct 2008awesome phone! i like it!ya it's good but dosen't support a memory card !!!!
Anonymous, 07 Sep 2008best phone i ever owned !! i dropped it in a pint once and when i dried it out it still worked... moreYou dropped it in a pint and it worked after that?
This I cannot believe because in my case it got soaked because of monsoon rains in India and it stopped working. I've had to send it to repairs and it cost me an additional 2000 rupees (EUR 60) on top of the already pricey EUR 300 I had paid for it. Other than that I still love the design, better than many a new phone, a bit thick by todays standards though and neat features except uploading java games (very cumbersome process)
this phone is great!!!!!!!!
i love the features specially in mp3
so guyz i advise you to buy one...
This is the worst phone which i have used . The bluetooth and the infrared is not working sometimes. So guys i advice you all not to buy this phone

But as you are writing it now, it has been out of production which means second hand. What ever happend to the thing before??
champ, 18 Sep 2008how to transfer contacts from samsung D500 to SGH-D880 a two sim card phone. Save your contact to sim. Isert sim in D880. You can leave the contacts there or upload it to the D880.
Throughout all of the phones I've owned, from Motorolas, Nokias, Sony Ericssons, LGs, and the iPhone, the D500 remains my favorite. The design is just sexy and it just was so fun to talk on. If only they could build on this design and release a phone similar to it but with modern features like 4gb+ flash memory, a 3.5mm headphones jack, and the like, I would get it in a heartbeat.
i loved this phone i had some good times with it no bad times propa legdend!!!! xx
Mae, 12 Mar 2008I need help. How do you set the D500 phone to a silent mode? ;)how to transfer contacts from samsung D500 to SGH-D880 a two sim card phone.
Stuff of legend by samsung... the specs and design were like innovation at the time when this came out... everybody wanted one and everybody once had one. This phone would remain in the history of mobile phone.
best phone i ever owned !! i dropped it in a pint once and when i dried it out it still worked ! beautiful
The best phone ever made. The newer once's look nicer. This one quality the #1 in phone's. Would be great if Samsung would take it back in production. I would order it again and again. Worked always, no problems even the 1.3 mp camera gave great pictures.
this phone is good for older people because they take care off phones but for younger people it is to fragile ! i am 17 and my phone is already broken and the only thing it works is his camera !!!
i bought this 3 years ago in UK from a friend and it's still going strong! it stopped charging when i came to NZ tho, as the phone's socket seems to have broken. however, i bought a universal charger an just remove battery to charge with that now. also the screen has fully cracked so i ripped it off..and it STILL works! hardcore. but 4 sum reason the bluetooth duznt work in new zealand?maybe coz its a uk phone? and does any1 knw where i can buy usb to transfer pics to comp?>plz
