just been reading the reviews for this phone, i noticed somebody asked how you can store your texts in the sent back without having to always select "send and save". what i would suggest is when you send a text message on this phone (its the same as d500) when it is sending close the flip, close the flip before the message fully sends, the message will still get to the other person but it will also store a copy in the drafts folder. ok its not in your sent box, but thats just a name, if you want to automatically save a copy, close the flip when it says message sending.
I work for cpw, I have countless experience with mobiles, for me the d600 is the best phone by a long long stretch. Admittedly there are improvements that can be made but its the same for any and every phone on the market. The d600 is the best phone available for the following reasons: it has an excellent screen, 265k colours and the highest pixel resolution out of any phone on the "common" market (obviously theres bigger ones but were talking your phone for normal people and not people who want phones to organize thier life) it records and plays mpeg4 back perfectly, ok sony ericssons play mp4 too but they are awful, when theres lots of music and or lots of bright light the playback jerks on the sony e's, then you get the video stopping dead sayin playback failed, they can play 3gp but the quality of them is awful. mp4 is th perfect video format, d600 plays it perfect, along with excellent screen size and colour its unrivalled, with full screen play back too, and the superb speaker from d600 which is clearer than any other phone and has more bass than any other, it leaves you with d600 having excellent screen, video and mp3, camera is stunning too, just look at the view finder compared to k750i etc, they look like vga with poor display on the view finder. when printed out, from our experimentation in different environments, on average d600 performed better. excellent memo and organizing functions, e mail, the ability to store and view micosfot documents and the video playback through tv makes it an awesome choice for those lookin to use it for business. plenty of on board memory plus expandable with t.flash leaves it stunningly amazingly the best phone, and in the next few weeks when 1gb t.flash become more readily available we will easy have our winner. the design is unrivalled too, standard block phones are boring, flips can be a pain in the ass to open so slide up wins for me. obviously everyone has their own opinion which makes life what it is, however for me i am convinced this is the best phone, when you compare the spec;s with other phones it wins, when you use them all, on average, the d600 combines every aspect of phones and comes out on top. improvements? 3g? no coz 3g is awful and useless, imode? almost certainly, i mail is the future especially for bsuiness men and woman on the move. its our best seller, its the first phone i recommend to people, its the winner everyday of the week. im not being bias here, as if a new phone come out that buried it regardless of who made it id take that and d600 would be thing of the past, if d600 wasnt the best phone around i wouldnt have one - simple as that.
Pls someone tell me program for instal appz for Samsung D600 and webs :)
My friend has this phone, I played with it once. It was the best day of my life.

THANKS FOR THE #1 saved the day ...
Can you guys help me if I can save the pictures and videos taken from D600 direct to the memory card? So I can have a lot of space in recording videos and its a hassle to move the pictures taken from phone memory to memory card every time I will take pictures. I tried scanning evrything camera settings and there's no option to save it directly to the memory card. Nokia and sony ericsson phones have that option, the choice where to save a taken picture or video.
Thank you guys in advance for your help... :-)
I have already mentioned in one of my postings:
yes, D600 does play video full-screen, you push #1.
i was wondering if anyone knows why when i try and put photos from a digital camera onto my D600E that it says it cant support them but i had a nokia 6230 before the D600E and it worked fine? please help thank you!!!
is there any folder system for the mp3 player on the phone? or do all the songs just go into one folder and then you have to sort through them yourself.

And I think another minor flaw with D600 is the slow speed of the shutter of the camera, it takes a few long seconds for it to work after pushing the photo taking button and one has to keep the phone still for that period and even a while after the sound of the shutter, a bit inconvenient and irritating, isn't it? This is a "usual" shortcoming of phones of this manufacturer. SAMSUNG, hasn't the time come yet for you to remove this problem from your phones? You have made so many nice techy things particularly in this phone, is it difficult to match this feature to Nokia and SE.
i am going to buy the d600 next month. got a few questions:
-can it take the 1gb micro sd card or does it support a max of 512mb?
-do videos play on it vertically or horizontally , i mean does a video play on the whole screen or just the middle of it?
-and how fast do songs transfer to the phone using the usb cable supplied? i change the music on my mp3 player almost every day so if the d600 doesn't transfer really fast, that will be annoying.
mousey: in my opinion, D600 is way better than 6270 or even N70 although I know only the first from my own experience. And it has not shown any problem or flaw yet, hope will not ever. Briefly D600's pros are:
1) good photo camera and excellent MPEG4 video recording camcorder (for a phone) with zoom, a lot of settings and effects though poor night mode as far as I felt, maybe I am mistaken, more experienced users may have better idea on this, including full-screen video viewing (just pushing button 1)
2) stereo 3D sur speakers
3) TV out
4) MS Office and Adobe Acrobat files viewing
5) nice design
6) premium display and colouring
Roughly what I can recall quickly. Good luck with your choice!
Hi D600 owners and fans (surely including sophisticated ones).
Can any1 please tell me:
is it normal that this great phone has so poor night mode in both picture and video modes (here it is called "night scene")? Or can it be that I just haven't found the right way to have higher quality for it? Thanks.
Except this, this phone is just excellent. Nokia 6270 (& 6280 with sec vid call cam) is no competitor, let alone Moto, only saw SE announcing a compatible phone K790 (& K800 - the same with sec vid cam) and Sharp did so with 904 (well both will have 3.2MP camera though). So my possible upgrade in future will be either of these.
