No, you can't plug 3.5mm phones directly into the D600 but an adapter is available - All yours for just over a fiver. Haven't got one myself but it lokks like it'd do the job spot on....Check it out:
Pro's: I have now owned my D600 for about three days now and I am extremely happy with it. It has a simple and well thought out user interface, has a crisp and beautiful screen, boasts amazing functionality and dare I say it, the battery life is quite good too - still showing full bars even after three days use. The D600 is also very well made and packaged, build quality certainly out does most rivals. I have had experience of both the Nokia 6230i and SE K750i and I would say that the Samsung D600 is the pick of the bunch.
Con's: I find the number of characters for last name, first name etc a little limited at 20 Characters, especially when there is no Company name field or dedicated field for addresses. USB data transfer speed is a little on the slow side, USB 2.0 would have been preferred. The D600 also has no preset and customisable profile. However, a quiet mode is available which suits most needs.
This handset is feature rich, superbly crafted and functions excellently. WIth such It is well worth a look.
Question to all D600 owners/users: I understood from a review on 'Mobile
-Review.com' that the Standby clock could be set to come on at preset intervals. Additionally, the review suggested that the clock type could be set i.e. Analogue or Digital.
Does anyone know if this info is accurate? If it is possible to change the standby clock setting does anyone know how??

Having this phone for 2 months now, it certainly is not going to be as popular as its forerunner D500. Only upgraded with a 2mega-pixel cam. Totally not impressed, slider seems to get over-used. Bluetooth and memory card problems !! Watch out

can anyone pls inform me on how to change the quad band settings, got the phone brandnew and battery doesnt even last 3 hours. without making any calls or using the camera.
For the battery problems charge your phone at turned off mode...
Close the cell messeges and Change the quad band into Gsm 900/1800.
It will go for 3-4 days then... ;)
Only 3 weeks with it and there's a lot of dust under the screen already. I just imagine in 1 year... there'll be no more screen, only dust. Not happy.
mp3 as ringtone
