Wow! Looks pretty easy if you are a Nobel prize in computers. That's why I buy Nokia phones : installing games and applications in just one click !

yeah you can upload them useing "SoftickPPP" along with "Samsung XXXX Java Uploader v1.1 by Jabberwock" Should be able to find them on google, theres a tutorial on another forum that explained how but i cant find it again but will try to explain how to do it and it works !

1. install and run SoftickPPP. When you get to the configure USB Share mode, choose the exclusive mode, (the software was intended for palm users so ignore & dont worry about any errors it gives you) DO NOT RUN YET

2.On your d600 go to "menu\applications\java world\options\network settings
In the "APN" box type "internet"
Leave both LOGIN ID & the PASSWORD boxes empty
Finaly disable the proxy settings & SAVE

3. Connect D600 to computer via USB cable and make sure is connected (Run the software you get with the fone to see if its connected but DONT leave it running while you use SoftickPPP)
once connected run SoftickPPP it will appear as a running task on the tool bar, right click it and select "SETTINGS" then select the "BLUETOOTH/SERIAL" tab at the top, if the fone has connected propery it should have "COM7 \Device\ss_mdm0" with a box to tick, Tick that box & push OK

4. right click SoftickPPP icon in toolbar again an select "ACTIVATEPPP"

5. Run uploader.exe an add your jad file into it

6. On your D600 enter the code #*536963# to enable serial download (push C to leave that screen when done)

7. Enter code #*5737425# into your D600 to enter the download menu then select "PPP UP" and on the next screen select "USB" on the next screen select "SERIAL DOWNLOAD"

8. If you have a firewall you have to let uploader.exe & SoftickPPP have access to the internet

9 Once you finished enter the code #*536961#

and hopefully it should install your java file, iv tried it an it does work fine with the D600 but as someone said its a case whether things are compatable, iv installed various games but only a few are the right screen size etc and some have sound problems but the transfer method works fine, hope it helps
this is one great phone once you get the hang of it

so funny here, look better for information!
if you want to buy this phone then buy it!
it's your flavour! so don't let them make a choise, so you will buy a D600? make for yourself a choise or you will get stuck with it:)

Hi guys, just have a problem here, I have a 128 micro sd card which loaded with some mp3 songs and try to put it on the phone, it fits in and on the top of the screen, it see the card icon, which i guess the phone realize there's a card put in, however, when i try to go to the card and play those songs, phone keep ask me "FORMAT" yes or no? if i say yes, a word "ERROR" come out. Then i take the card out and format it on the card reader then put it back, same thing happen, I can't even copy some existing picture to the card. Is anyone can tell me is it the card problem or there's something wrong with the phone?

to jo, it's not only features what makes a good phone, but features + design/size + usability, battery life, etc. These nokias are OK but 1-They weight 30%more and are bigger in size 2-Their battery life is shorter 3-They don't have a decent internal memory.

Its rubbish the phone broke the first day i got it and it started to send messages to other peole which were blank costing me money and wasting my credit. I would strongly advise you to get the E720 as the features on it are excellent.Don't buy the D600.
