the specifications of D600 has changed.it says here that it has EDGE in only D600E version.so this means that D600 doesnt have EDGE.thats a shame!!!i hope that also D600 has EDGE.
From inside knowledge, the phone will have a UK release date of 27th September, I heard this from a contractor of Carphone Warehouse, so this reliable information. Cant wait to buy it. Superb features and specification.
Too bad that the MicroSD(transflash) max capacity is 256mb (at the moment in the Netherlands). Herefor it makes it hard to replace a stand-alone mp3player.
to bbbbpppp, i agree on the fact that this will be an awesome phone when it's released but i want to know how your friend has this phone when it's status is still coming soon??? and finally a decent slide phone with expandable memory!!! look out K750i here comes the D600!!!
My only criticism is there's no FM radio.... but I'm gonna get it anyway so anyone have any news on when it's going to be released?
I would buy this phone only because of its capability to operate on 850. I am in US and with Cingular. I have D500 now. I am very happy with the phone, and honestly D500 looks better than D600. But D500 only operates on 1900 here with Cingular. There are some areas, like my house, where I do not receive good reception.
the features this phone has surpasses the ones of the k750i the only reason why i would want to buy the k750 is becaus of its camera.
reasons why i wouldnt buy it
1. low quality display 176*220
2. i think its a very ugly phone
3. a friend of mine has it and he has a lot of problems with it
reasons to buy the d600
1. display quality is very good
2. i like the design
3. it has a camera thats better then most of the phones out at the moment
4. the features are very nice
and if this phone is as good as the d500 i think k750 wont be able to compete with it
as for the talk time im sure its not 3 hours and the people that own this site say that the info about the phones is NOT 100% rigth
so if u can't to choose between the k750 and d600 i say go for the d600
im not a samsung fan caus i love SE but this phone tops all the SE phones at the moment
Here is the link that KOZO typed http://www.samsung.com/se/products/mobilephone/gsm/sgh_d600.asp
Its not got low battery it can last up to 1 week!
Its only if you keep your bluetooth on instantly that the battery goes so quick and then it last up to 5 hours!
hey guys..don't worry - it has 7 hours talk time and d600e it is tri-band , and d600 is quad band, and it has 103 g - maybe they changed battery :)ttp://www.samsung.com/se/products/mobilephone/gsm/sgh_d600.asp?page=Specifications
hey guys.. I was wondering if anyone could help me out.. I just saw this phone for the first time and it looks great I dont mind the battery that doesnt have a big capacity and the memory is good enough for me.. I just wanna know what you think is best.. Nokia 6280? Samsung D600? or Samsung Z700? Also if you have any idea how much they each cost aproximatelly it would be a great help.. Thanks
Lisa, before you even resort to contradiction, I want to confirm you that the comment you posted below is 99% fabrication. Bluetooth was first developed by research team of IBM and Intel. So plz don't come up with distorted facts making a fool out of yourself.
As far as I have concerned, this site is often visited by entourage of Sonyericsson fans that consecutively reiterate the same bullsh** without any basis. I hear 'em screamin' everyday, "Samsung suks, K750i rulez!"
Still no memory card, its got less memory than the D500. altough more pixels and tv output still no memory card. Not Good!!!
Yes sony ericsson might be better than samsung in some ways i agree. I am a big sony ericsson fan but this is very good for samsung. Sony ericsson was the first cellular company to bring out Bluetooth, with the T68I but samsung has very quickly caught up on the tecknology.
talk time for sony ericsson is 9h and for d600 only 3h !!!!! yes , not comparable !
When we tested the device in Moscow, it worked for about 3 days in case of 50 minutes of talks and up to 20 minutes of using other functions (alarm clock, camera, organizer). Using Bluetooth permanently decreases battery life to only one day (30 minutes of talks and up to 25 minutes of using other functions). To tell the truth, it's hard to discharge the battery in a day, even those speaking much on the phone will stay pleased. Generally, battery life will probably form 2-3 days for the majority of users. Recharging the battery will take about 2 hours.
Talktime is 3 hours, not the entire battery life! Jeez.
