u.g.l.y. i dont like this phone at all causwe i think it is the ugliest thing i have ever seen. no offence or nuthin but yeah dont like it.
in my opinion its the best mobile i had ever seen but if it is released now bec. it well be old fashion if not.
There have been problems with sending pics via IR (i hope not for bluetooth) from Samsungs to Nokias (since most of the people in the Phils. use them). Would that be a problem for the mighty D600? Word is out that it's gonna show up late August. Can't wait!!!
Katie, cuz it doesnt matter.
SD cards currently are up to 1GB.
And that is more than enough to most of us.
Even if you store 100s of musics and 5~10 full length movies u still have memories left. And the most important thing is dual stick memory cards' speed is VERY VERY SLOW.
SD cards are one of the fastest.
I would NOT use a dual stick card...
Yeah but RYAN why wait a 'few months' when u can have that feature now!
on http://www.telepoint.ch/ since today it was "Lieferbar ca. August 2005" and now it is "Lieferbar ca. Ende August 2005" so it seems that d600 will be very soon (about month) :)
Roul, I would definetly go for the D600. D600 is smaller, has TV output, better video quality and + + + the design.
And I don't think Nokia is used to high techs.. Samsung has been focusing on high techs since 3~4 years..
It still doesn't make k750 better.
Cuz there are now 2GB SD cards coming out
in a few months.
To IMMOLATER...the Sony Ericsson k720i can actually have upto 2GB of memory which is the equivalent of a mini ipod.
hey just to let you all know the d600 is out in uk 22nd august (from o2 direct), but should be sim free aswell by then.
i really like this phone and im comparing this and the SEk750. and with ur guys opinions here looks like ur selling it. i wanna go for this phone. do u guys know how long can this phone record video?
It will be the best phone if it is released
Almost perpect specs, Good design
D600 is the phone everyone can use variable functions with good quality
To anyone who thinks the K750i is better, buy one. When the D600 is available, try it out in the shop, if it's not for you then buy something else.
You can tell a lot about someone by their choice of phone.
Forgot to mention about the video clip recording resolution below!
K750i = 144x176(QCIF) in 3GP format (cannot view video clips full-screen horizontally)
D600 = 352x288(CIF) in MPEG-4 format (can view video clips full-screen horizontally)
Here's my comparision between D600 & K750i
Camera: K750i obviously better than D600; although they both consist 2-mega pixel camera, K750i has AF and Macromode function.
Screen Resolution: D600 wins over K750i with QVGA display =76800 pixels, K750i = 38720 pixels. Twice as clearer than K750i's display.
Memory: D600's internal memory = 96MB + Transcend memory card (up to 512MB)// K750i's internal memory = 32MB + Memorystick duo (up to 512MB).
MP3: K750i uses crappy headsets, it uses fastport instead of the 3.5mm headset jack. It cannot play MP3 formats in 320kbps and above, extra bass in equilizer. While D600 can play MP3's in different format, better earphones, and the headset jack output doesn't wiggle like the ones used in K750i. D600 with dual stereo speakers, while K750i with monophonic speakers.
Other functions: D600 has TV-OUT function, which is a powerful utility to view video clips, images, and even play games through your remote TV screen (or LCD monitors). Someone below mentioned that D600 is "OUTDATED" without EDGE but that's deception, look at the specs. In addition, D600 has Picsel viewer, you can view HTML files, excel, powerpoint, word, etc.
"the k750i has triple the battery life"
No it doesn't. They're just the official specs, there is nobody getting NINE hours of talktime out of a K750i.
