how is the battery life on it? here i see it says talk time up to 3 hours, while on the samsung website it says talk time up to 8 hours? thx

Phone is lovely. However I cannot open any of my Text messaging folders. I get an "initialising" message and none can open. Currently there appears a sign on the screen showing an envelope with a sort of page with lines..... Any help appreciated

There is signa... moreSim 2 is limited to dual band only, i think the 800 and 1900 bands. if your 2nd sim is the slave sim and your provider does not transmit through those bands you will get that error. i'm not that techie but i guess this should answer your question. tip: you can try switching the master and slave sims.

How to activate GPRS on BSNL south network.
I bought D780 on 1st may.
Till today I am unable to connect to my GPRS which I was doing within my Z550i mobile.
I even tried changing the model setting I am unable to do so.

When i receive messages,the alert tone repeats three times..dont know why..i have kept the sound alert as only once in settings.Any idea??

I bought this phone October last year. But both sims hardly work the same time. There is signal on one sim but on the other it is always "limited network". I have not been able to call or receive call from the secondary sim. Please can anyone say something about the reception of the two sims?

How to save All Phone contacts in "Save in My files"?
It can be save one by one but no option "Save in my files" of all phone contacts. There is no Mark option. Is there any other way?

Hi,
I noticed that in Samsung D780 handset, the Repeat Alarm of a Calender Event does not function. In other words, when a calender event is set to repeat, although there is ring / vibration for the first time, there is no ring / vibration in subsequent repeats. The repeat event only gets displayed without ring / vibration.
