hello, I was using my D780 for a year, its ok but I have the problem of the battery it will weak not more than 1 day, especially when I'm using radio or mp3 the battery will weak very fast.That is my problem about this model.
and when Im asking at the store, this model is not available, just asking if this model was faceout at the market.

wel...its a nice phone,the only problem is the battery...it doesnt last for long

I have been using it for over a year now. Phone is good but battery is not that great. Works fine if I am not driving. During driving, the phone's network tends to get very week.
I am looking for a firmware upgrade now. Not sure what the firmware version is now in the new phones, but my phone has the firmware as D780DDHF1 and software version as CCD240.003
To find these details type *#1111# for the software version and *#1234# for the firmware version.
Can you let me know the firmware and software version in your D780 phones?

I just bought my d780 and i realise that it is made in china, i want to know if this is an original samsung d780, which country apart from korea produces this original phone.

Hi, to all its really nice but have some problem with download of applications, games. Its camera quality is fantastic & sound quality too.

been great to use it for over a year, but suddenly the motherboard burned out for no reason (i got from the sc).
i also has problems with java, ain't a good phone for java
still it's too bad it broke down

My d780 make seems to be fake coz it has 45 mb internal and i hav a 1gb mem card but hanging. camera not working just shaking also rebooting itself. i upgraded software but stil. help plz

Adamu Z Daya, 10 May 2010Can someone tell me how I can Install and configure my phone with Opera mini and start browsin... moreIf u want to install Opera Mini on your D780 just open the phone's browser,select url address,type www.operamini.com and search. Opera web page will open,and you will see download opera. Click on download opera(in English or other languages,etc). I recommend Opera Mini 4.2. Download will not take more than 3mins. Open,accept opera terms and start. Enjoy.

hus baba, 19 May 2010my samsung d780 is givin me problems its realy hanging the screen plez helpD780 does not normally hang,so if it hangs,u should check your internal memory,it is just 32MB. Alternatively check if the memory card is beyond 2G.It can only support up to 2G,according to the specification by GsmArena. Try to delete some data to free the memory. Enjoy.

check with ur network provider. 2 years of experince using this fone.. no issues of using 2 SIM's watsoever..!!

This was a truly magnificent phone that i have ever used(stolen now :( ). it is a simple phone with good display, internal memory, usability, sustainability, camera, radio, but to top it all, amazing MUSIC PLAYER i have ever discovered in any cell phone till now. its earphone output is truly magnificent and i have literally compared it to an ipod, and has truly competitve edge [so an ipod can be sacrificed any day for music from this phone]. good battery life and flexible keypad. only problem i would discover is no problem using this phone..
except for vibration mode being unacceptable..! delighted to grade it 10/10..!! thankyou SAMSUNG for this incredible experience..!!
