it is a real stylish, slick, modern phone. the on board memory is awesome but the battery life is not so great.i was in such a rush to buy this phone that i soon realize that the d900 came out with 3 mega pixel.ja so my only complaint is that the battery life span is short and that you cant use mp3 as a message tone.other than that its an awesome phone
D820 far better than Nokia6630. You can install so many games and programs from www.getjar.com . D820 has better camera, better MP4 video recorder and player,TV out to wach your videos and documents and listen to your music through louder speskers, message reminder, Mobile tracker which enable you to know the phone number using your phone when it is lost or stolen,SOS message which enable you to ask help when you are in emergency, Answer machine, call recording,Document viewer, 6 alarms which can be set on spicific days of the week. privacy Password on call record - phonebook - massages - images - videos - Music - Sound - other files - Memory card. all these features are lacking on Nokia 6630
had this phone since it was first avail. love it. has its pros and cons. battery life is not so good but i use it a lot. i wish the rings were louder but being able to make any ringtone free is great. small stylish and can take a beating without looking like trash.

I'm having problems accesing(sp?) any page on my WAP browser, i ahve t-mobile and theres and error message, something about not being able to connect to network..And i put the network selection to Automatic if that helps...
I just got the d280 yest, and i was wondering it anyone was SURE that a 2gb card wouldn't work. I read that it wouldn't and wanted to make sure. Also, does anyone remember/know how to have the mp3 player playing in the backround?
If the phone's keypad tone setting is greyed out and you can't access its setting, it is because your dialling display is set to QUILL-PEN or STICKY NOTE. Try to set the dialling display setting to NORMAL and you will have access to keypad tone setting again.
Hi! I just need BIG help - My kepad tone wont chnage - the option is there but it is faded and wont let me select it? I dont know why????
Hey guys - very interested in this phone, but MUST be able to Sync my Contacts AND Calendar from Outlook. Can any current users tell me if the D820 can do that?
Thanks - Adam
how to download game for d820 so pls any site pls pls pls request urgent
its a good fone and all.. iuse the t809.... BUT... for some strange reason it keeps on goin off and coming on again wenever i change tracks by pressing the next button (for some songs).. and also wen i try to set some songs as my ringtone... the same thing happens.... poof!..off it goes again... desperately need some help or advice
It looks a great phone, but is it true you can't personalise the message tone?
its definitely quite good.. with the slim and sleek design and plentiful functions. The only bad point is that the phone only has a 1.3mp camera. But its a good 1.3mp. If you arn't too fussy about picture quality, i think its actually comparable to a 2mp camera.
I must say that its really user friendly. Much friendlier then Nokia symbian operating system.
hi i have not bought a d820, but im eyeing it. im wondering if it is good to use and user-friendly. ive seen some of the comments which shows some difficulties in accessing the phone. should i buy it for the price?
sorry, some typo mistake in the previous post.
If you own a T809, I dont think you can set your phone to Ring and Vibrate at the same time. T809 is the locked version of D820. But if your phone is D820 just go to sound settings>Incoming call>and choose "Melody and Vibration" for ring type.
Maybe you can try http://www.getjar.com/software/ its not really that great.. but still not bad..

Shouldn't be a problem if you use the Samsung PC Studio 3. Just open the "Manage files" and copy the pictures to "Downloaded Pictures". You CANT download them to "Photos".
When taking photos, you can actually flip the screen over by pressing on the volume buttons on the side of the phone. In fact, the volume buttons can be used for zooming in/out photos in ur "photos" folder.
I guess you are using the T809. I've already posted a few times on the method to set MP3 ringtones on T809. Let me copy it out again:
You first have to set your ringtone as a MP3 file then you go through those steps. it should work!
1. Put the mp3 song on your PHONE. (if its on your Memory Card it wont be able to select it as a ringtone later)
2. Go to incoming call settings
3. Select ringtone to see all available (Make sure that your current ringtone is MP3. there should be a couple songs already on your phone that you are able to set as a ringtone, but they suck, of course)
4. Find desired song (it should be greyed out and non-selectable)
5. Then just Highlight it
6. Click middle button (even though it will not allow you to this, the step if a must)
7. Press BACK button
8. Press save. (EVEN THOUGH THE RINGTONE IS STILL THE SAME AS BEFORE BUT SAAAAVE AnyWAYS!)
9. Go back and check your incoming call and it should be whichever song you highlighted.
If your phone is shown to be not connected to the PC, close Samsung Studio Programme and restart your phone. Try connecting again. It should work.
