In my experience, having used numerous phones, there is no such thing as the perfect phone because of new technologies being introduced and the various user requirements.
As for the battery issue, many people make the mistake of charging their battery for 16 hours before using the phone. When i purchased my D820, i immediately started using the phone without charging the battery and guess what....i got a full 16 hours of use before recharging and it took only 3 and a half hours to complete the recharge. I'm now on my 3rd day and i've still got sufficient battery life, and this after I have played around with the phone quite a bit to familiarise myself with it.
I've had the phone for 5 days now and i am quite happy with it, especially the photo/video quality and the TV output.
That's just my opinion....
I dont have this phone, but as far I know iTunes as different file extension and this model doesnt support those files. So its better to chaange them to 3gp before transffering to the phone. That might work.
hey i just bought this phone two days ago. i think it's a really good phone. I love the slim-sleek look of it. this is actually my first samsung phone, so i would like to ask the following questions:
1. can the default setting, which all sms' received are stored on the sim card, be changed? (i just want to save it to the phone memory)
2. is it possible to set the phone on default to save all sent sms' automatically?
HELP! I am trying to set some of my itune songs as ringtones by sending them from my computer to the phone via bluetooth. When I try to select the song as a ringtone the song is greyed out and the phone will not let me. Anyone know how I can work around this?
i posted right below...i tried the keypad volume setting, but it's greyed out and inactive...the dealer doesn't know why, but doesn't think there's anything wrong with the phone. what do i do?
hey does anyone know how to turn off the keypad tone while not turning the phone entirely to silent? my keypad volume option is inactive...is this a problem with just my phone?
No the Mp3 tracks cannot be set as message ringtones but can be set for incoming cal ringtone
Hey the bluetooth is suppose to be V2.0 not V1.2 plz amend the changes
Just wanna to know, for D820, can MP3 be used for message alert or not? (ussually Samsung already set it for default)
I am not sure why the battery issue is there. I do not charge my phone for atleast 3 days. It runs perfect. I am a pretty heavy user of my phone, though I do not use many applications like video, music etc. The keypad can be better. Design is perfect.
i bought d820 and i m sick of this phone already in 2 weeks becuase of the battery..u cant charge ur phone 3 times a day..and if u use the bluetooth headset then this is not the phone for u because it will disconect again and again and interupt ur calls.i put this phone home..d600 is better than this i heard and even less price so that was a bad experience using this phone..
