Yeah the thinner the phone, the shorter the battery life. I recently bought the SGH-X820, the thin bar phone. Definately would have to recharge every night on regular use. Just buy an extra battery. Buy it for it's style and uniqueness, not it's bettery life.
hello...well there is dilemma happened my D830 is snatched few days back now i would like to know that is there any tracking system in this phon...cheers
i think the phone is perfect.......perfect sape..quite slim.easy to put in the pocket widout any burden.
But i think the only problem wid this phon is tht its batttery lasts for a very short period of time,it does not supppport themes and no extra tone can be set up for message....
A very beautiful & stylish phone with almost all the needed stuff. But the only & most important issue with the phone is its battery, that is extremely bad performing. Samsung need to address this issue.
I just got the phone yesterday and i am used to Nokia for too long so im facing many problems. The keypad is a MESS. i can not make a shortcut to the camera on the main screen which annoys me a lot. anybody can help with this ?
Lets enjoy our D830's ! :)
the most mentioned issue in samsung is about their bad performance of the battery. Is it happens to nokia, sony erics., or motorola also? Why samsung always had the same short battery life problem?
Hi, all i have just bought this phone accidently. I found it to be great one except thast battery is a issue. You have recharge it every day, specially if oyu play song or use camera. Rest indeed a great phone.
well i m using this from last 30 days or so . phone is perfect but its battery is very bad . u have to recharge it daily if u r little busy. prest of phone is perfect
Yeah, the buttons were hard to press when I first got it, then I got used to it too.
I like this phone a lot, it's a major upgrade from my Nokia 3595. However, the only complaints I have about it is that the battery life lasts about 2 or 3 days at most. Also, the phone reception is worst than my old 3595.
hi. i'm korean student.
here is more imfomation.
i use mmf-files as an alarm and it eorks perfectly.
in the beginning, the keys were a bit difficult to press, but i've got used to it.haven't you?
Yeah, I've had the same problem with the alarm being too shocking too. I've had the same problem with you, you can't set an MP3 into the Downloaded or Favorites folder.
The only files that you can put in there that your alarm will recognize are MIDI files. This is the only way you can add alarm tones without using the default.
The D830 is ok... Would anyone know what type of file is supported for the Alarm? From the Alarm Alert options you can choose from your Downloaded Sounds. I have .amr files in this folde but it will not allow me to set it as an Alarm Alert, and the default ones are shocking and I mean shocking, I prefer my alarm to wake me up a little more pleasantly... even my old E700 had one that wasnt too bad. But I was hoping that I can at least use an .MP3, but I am not able to save any in this folder. Any pointers?
it is really hard to press keypad .. i liked the physıcal appearrances first but the keypad thing is awfull! dont buy it
pleez anyone i need i quick reply...im not concerned about the volume that much, but is the speaker quality, and headphone quality as good as SE walkman phones and nokia 3250? better? worse?...thnx =D
