i love this mobile, but my only problem is i need a full screen caller software like the one i had on my Nokia E70, could someone help me in this issue.
i have been using it for a week and it seems to be working well and am happy with the phone ?
HI can anyone please tell me what (FDN) means under the phonebook options? Also how can I make one full sim card have a seperate ring tone to the other one? Thanks.
guyz...wake up, that TWINS is an cheap imitation...in ROmania, we have CECT - made in China, same properties as that TWIN, the price is arround 70 EUro, but it only lasts 1/2 months, after that the paint is falling, it starts to make different noises...and if u make a wrong move the touchscreen crashes...please don.t make the mistake to buy that staff only because is cheap... regards
@Jonas
Yes, you're right, m8!
Thanks for your input on this.
It seems that the Twins aren't a bad choice. They're cheaper in pixmania.
And not as bulky as this Samsung.
But I have a love/hate relationship with those touchscreens - if they break... well, you know what I mean, right?
Cheers!
NB : i can t find the "flash", i have only the lens and a small miror !!!
Hi team
Please can anybody tell me how to install java application and games on this mobile, as it came without a software to install jar or jad file on it.
Thanks...
USing the D880 as a modem.
The primary card is used. You might need to change via SIM settings (phone will reboot).
PC suite > USB >D880 no problem
Laptop > BT > D880 no problem. Set applications > Bluetooth services to dial up modem. It seems the procimus sim card contains the necessary info for connections. I had to set DNS manually though.
It is mentioned anywhere in the manual that you can use BT for connecting to a PC for internet connection. I used to have a Samsung Z500. It could never be used for surfing over BT, only when connecting by cable.
BTW, my new laptop has built in 3G modem which works fine also nut it is good to have a phone which can be put at a place where there is a goof signal and relay over BT.
i would like to know how to turn off the tone sound everytime you save a setting. i cant find the menu that turns it off. when in silent mode its turned off, but in normal mode its always there. its annoying can anyone help me. thanks in advance.
@paanopo
Access your SD card through in the Menu. There's a folder limitation though; i.e. the folders can only contain certain file types.
@gee
Your primary SIM is the default from which you send SMS messages (i.e. not automatic if message was received from a particular SIM). It only takes one extra step which isn't much of a hassle really; pushing the select button.

Twin 66 seems to be dual tri band incl. 1900 and has 1 GB internal memory. More here:

Re USA
It has been noted that only SIM card slot 1 supports GSM 1900, i.e. Nort American GSM.
You can inactivate any one of the cards in the SIM managment menu which is accessed by pressing the sim switch button when in standby mode. There you can also inactivate both cards for flight mode.
whats the internal memory and can it be expand to 4gb of external memory?
your duo sim problem (?) solved:-

"By the way, I've been using the fone for couple of weeks now. Contrary to some reviews, you don't have to reset the phone to change SIM when you text and call. All you've got to do is press the 'switch SIM' button on the left side of the phone after defining the number you want to call or to send text message to.The only time you need to reset the phone is when you change your primary SIM. And you do that by pressing the 'switch SIM' button while on stand by."
