You are obviously getting emails from your partner saying things like "Time you were home. Hot meal ruined."
There's a simple way of eliminating all this. You figure it out :):)
I can help. Sending a message is no big deal. After you have written it, press OPTIONS, and then 1. to Send only - or 2. to Send and SAVE. It's only one button !!
The icons you are getting are known as Vivid Messaging. To delete, go MENU 5 - 5 - 1 - 2
and turn off "View as Vivid Message". Don't forget to SAVE. No more Harry Potter cartoon pictures. (Actually I quite like them but no one ever sends me one ).
Now to Messaging TEXT size. Easy. Go MENU 5 - 1 - 1 and scroll down Options to number 11. Make your own adjustments.
It's all in the User Guide, but the Index is rubbish.
I've had this phone a month and I'm finding it seriously frustrating (how many buttons do you have to press to sned a text message!?) and haven't been able to get any help from Samsung - can anyone help?
How can I get rid of the stupid little icons that appear when someone sends me a text that includes the words time, hot, home, etc. Maybe this would be cool if I was 12 years old, but at 35 it's just annoying.
Is there any way to make it save all sent text messages?
Can I change the size of the font in the text messages?
you have to make sure the filenames are not too long (try to rename them into 8 characters plus extension)
does anybody know how to format the phone itself? is there any key combinaions that you can press or something..

Great phone but why no FM radio? If it had one it would be right up there with the walkman phones in terms of features.
Do NOT buy this phone, looks good, ok to carry in pocket and answer calls other than that its rubbish. Compared to other makes sending a text is very long winded, does not save and send unless you select the option , cannot change message tone, the list is endless.
