I bought this phone yesterday & so far I really like it. The only things I would say is that the instruction manual is terrible, very hard to follow. There is so much stuff on the phone, I dont know what half of it is!
I was wondering if anyone could help - I sent photos from my old one 2 the d900 but cant figure out how to use the pics as my screensaver. Also I seem to be unable to download the sent pics 2 my pc. How can I do this?

The normal are as loud as the speaker... Help me if u can.. Thanks
Great phone only a few problems. They are:
1 - No percentage button on the calculator (try it, you'll see)
2 - The Charger / data socket is very strange feeling you almost have to force it in there.
3 - still no mp3 message tones
4 - photos cannot be stored directly to the memory card
5 - The theme I have (London Houses Of Parlement) is reversed
6 - At the moment 2GB microSD's are NOT compatible. (Confirmed by Samsung and is detailed on their website)
But altogether a great slim phone
I had my d900 for a week, when the screen cracked inside......£65 for a repair. Ok maybe it was my fault..although i am sure it wasnt, since 3 weeks on, the phone has done it again!!!.....unbelievable that such an expensive phone can be so fragile!!! WOULDNT RECOMMEND!!!

my boyfriend is buying me this phone for christmas. i really wsnted this phone and he has got and bought me it. i can't wait until christmas day to open it.
The T9 Dictionary, does it have Spanish? When I bought my D600 back in 2005 I didn't realized I got the European version with no Spanish T9! Please let me know!
Nrt nevermind, I just read the review here in Gsmarena.. they explained it in detail. Thanks anyways!!
Thanks Nrt, I was wondering if the sliding mechanism is any good then? it looks like the lower base is fixed, unlike the D600, so isn't it hard to open? where would u put your finger to push? right down the word samsung over the upper keyboard? u can't open it from the bottom like the D600, right?
Sorry about the detail info, but it's not available in Latinamerica yet, so I have to know if I wanna order it on line.
Thanks a lot,

Well, D900 is a great phone, I got one recently, its been ... a little more than a week I think. Any one having problems with construction? I thought D900 was renowned for solid construction, my one squeaks when the slider is down. Its not supposed to, ALL the reviews say its construction is good. Some of them even point out that it doesn't squeak when pressed.
And heres some useful info:
> JAVA games cannot be installed with bluetooth or USB (unless using some hacking method, Samsung does not officially support transfer of J2ME unless via WAP)
> The real time environment is good, but is according to where you are, and cannot be changed. Which means, that if you're in Bangladesh (which has no proper picture in the theme) they just show a forest, which is pretty ugly as compared to the big ben, if you're in london.
> Screen is AAAAMAZING.
> Bluetooth is actually quite good.
> Has a great "vivid" message feature. I love this one. It actually changes a text message into an animated one. Its quite nice.
> Sound is loud, but lacks bass in phone speakers. Sound great with headphones. I LOVE the in-box earphones. They're great.
> Music player is nice, and can be minimized. It can store 4 playlists with 30 songs each (I think, read it somewhere.. haven't tried yet). Which means, you can keep a max of 120 songs in your playlist. HOWEVER, you can always play songs without the playlist.
> Video recording is great, much much better than SE. i've compared with K800, W810, K750, W700.
> You cant zoom into pictures, not properly. It zooms into photos taken by the phone, but you cant exactly call it zoom. You CAN zoom while TAKING the picture though.
> JAVA applications CAN access gprs, but its annoying when it keeps popping up "Allow HTTP access?". Still don't know how to disable this warning. Opera mini works fine, its just annoying with mig33.
