The best phone I have ever had. Amazing. Looks stunning, very thin, light and stylish. Camera is fantastic plus because of the slider, it is protected. The screen is bright and huge.
Here is how I fixed my memory card problem:
It seems that the D900 is only compatible with the SanDisk T-Flash card. In my case, my phone did come with the SanDisk card, but I already had a Kingston card which i used with my D600. So i assumed i could just use my Kingston card in the D900. For some odd reason the D900 does not accept (NOT ALLOWED shows up) the Kingston 1GB card. As soon as i inserted the SanDisk card it accepted it without a problem. So I guess for those that have a Kingston card, your only solution to the problem may be to go buy the SanDisk card...
How did you fixed the memory card problem?
Yes, you can transfer data directly to memory card! Open Menu>>Settings>>Phone Settings>>USB Settings>>Mass Storage. Then you will be able to transfer data directly to the memory card, as you do with a pendrive (I mean using the Windows Explorer, and not Samsung PC Studio)
PS: At least for me, after I disconnect from PC, it backs to "Modem" instead of "Mass Storage" and I need to set again to "Mass Storage" everytime I connect to PC. There's a way to avoid this?
Does the Samsung D900 support instant messaging??? I have a D600 and it only supports it via Java If I am on chat when I get a call or need to make a call it closes, does the D900 have the same issue???
Please Help!!!!! Need to know how GoogleTalk or any other IM could be loaded on the D900
i got this fone for 2days, with a 1G memory card, now i got ONE Question, every time i transfer mp3 to my fone, the only chioce is transfer to the fone memory first, not the card, then i have to move the songs from fone memory to the memory card. is there a way to transfer files directly from pc to 1G memory card??thx lots..
Arion thanks.. seems like all my problems have been solved!! Even my battery seems to be working better hehe, all i can say is great phone! 9/10...
As a side note some posts have been about deactivating the keypad tone just slide the phone up and press the down button on the left hand side until on your screen you will seekey volume with a big red cross indicating it is off. Hope this helps.
I work at a mobile phone store and had waited months for the D900 to come to australia and I have to say that it was definatly worth the wait. I've been reading some of the other comments and I cannot understand the ones about the battery. As someone who is always using my phone as an example at work I use the features such as the MP3 player, the camera and bluetooth quite extensively and couldn't be happier with the battery. I actually find it amazing how fast the battery can be fully charged usually taking less than 2 hrs. The only thing I think Samsung could have looked at would be customising the SMS alert but having had 3 samsung phones now it isnt a major problem. Overall an excellent phone!
I have a 1GB Kingston Micro SD, and it doesn't work as yours, I've read in the internet that many people had this problem.. The only solution is changing to a Sandisk memory card, which works flawless.
hy.i bought the d900.. a month ago and i put on it a 256 mb card..and i transfer files on my t flash card with a card reader..i put for example 15 mp3's on the card..and when i put the card in the phone..it only shows 2-3 mp3' instead of 15..i tried puttin' 1 a time..but still no results..the most mp3's copyed and visible on my card was 8..

I am very interested in this mmobile fone but there is one problem. After reading your previous comments i am quite shameful to say that i will not be buying your mobile phone. I am no at all amused with people saying the battery runs out really quickly when you never say that in your manual.
Would somebody like to tell me if these comments are true?

Surprisingly theres another problem....... Im using a Kingston 1GB T-Flash Card, it's recognizing the card on the main screen but when i go to access the card it says NOT ALLOWED?? I tried turning the phone on and off and nothing happens, it shows theres a memory card inserted but thats it. Is there something related perhaps to the settings???60MB is not sufficient so i really hope this 1GB T-Flash will serve me of good use...
can anyone please tell me how to configure my wap so i can use it with Cingular GPRS. Do i have to reset it to my country origin? I cannot figure this thing out. I've already tried the cingulars setting for their samsung d807, but they are not the same.
Please help anyone. I would greatly appreciate it.

thankyou very much to the person that helped me change the language setting to english!... i have another problem now hehe, my 1GB memory card wont stay inside of the phone, it isnt "clicking" in place. Does anyone else have this problem??.. Thanks again!...
P.S: Ive always loved samsung, and this phone certainly doesnt change my mind.. the only problem with this phone seems to be the battery life, not that great, but luckily i received 2 batteries with it, so ill be good to go...looking forward to see what Samsung comes out with next!
