Very Good Phone with Good Still Picture Resolution and Reception. Does anyone know how to change the firmware or upload java programs?
You cant view pictures in full screen you can see them when you press left/right to look at them but you cant make them fill the whole screen like you can with videos on this phone by pressing 1
yes finally you can have ring and vibrate at the same time. No with message tones you have to stick to their set once
can the phone ring and vibrate at the same time? can the msg tone be set apart from the original tones from samsung? nedd info...cheers
Just got it
its fantastic, a lot of features....Camera great for a MOBILE FONE...F**k N73 it's a computer not a mobile to talk
About the volume...
Get that screen protector off and than it's ok.
Your so rude. My ears are fine. Ever thought their might be a fault with my handset?
Have your ear checked up, maybe there is something wrong with it because there is nothing wrong with the phone.
Im having real trouble calling people with this phone, i can only get the volume up to Level 5 and i cant hear a thing? Can anybody help? Thanks x
Can someone clarify on the rx change of volume, what is the first change (to 250), is it Level 1? What is the number being changed?
The last good phone Samsung made was the D500(the only con I can remember was the short battery life), after the D500, all different models of Samsung phones I used have different problems........namely, bad or unstable reception, low ring volume, low ear piece volume, terrible response with keypad/navigation keys actions etc. etc.
Even people that I know encounter different problems with Samsung GSM phones(made in Korea). Software niggles usually arrive after 3-4 weeks of normal use of the Samsung phones.
I have not brought this D900 yet........it's not the matter of money; it,s just that I don't want to get myself pissed again by buying another garbadge phone........I just don't want kill my cells.......not worth it for just a mobile phone!
How's the mp3 function on this phone? very easy to access? And has anyone try 2gb card yet? really want to know if it can use it. Does it also play divx without any conversion needed?
Greg, all lies. it is all possible.
Full Screen view of pictures press 1.
You can transfer pictures to/from memory card
Typing is ok.
What I found most annoying in all these new sliders is that..none of them come with a idle screen saver showing time , miss call or new sms.
i loved these new models..but I hope samsung will keep that feature ,like thay had in D500 to all their upcoming sliders.
phone is awesome, everyone I know loves the phone. Has anyone tried setting up a pop3 email client like gmail on this phone. I have i am able to retreive email but unable to sent it always give me the email connection timeout. Let me know if there are settings that i need to know.
Just to clarify for people, you can get a 3.5mm headphone adapter to fit the d900 off ebay for a few quid, well worth it IMO, but I don't know the sound quality yet.
The "lip" on the bottom can make 1 hand texting slightly harder than other phones, but I'm used to it by now. Main annoyance though is the address book problem where you can't choose what memory to use, with nokia pc suite mucking up all my old numbers so looks like I'll be spending a while putting all my numbers into this...
Hi when i take a photo with the d900 it beeps. Ive turned shutter sound off in settings and it still does it. The only way i can get arround this is by putting the phone in silent mode. Can anyone help?
Sorry Ramirez, I had a quick glance but didn;t spend any real time searching.
As long as I know there is a way to do it I'll take my time and look for the process.
Looking at possibly getting this phone, I was wondering if an owner / owners could answer my three questions:
1. How hard does the bottom lip underneath the * 0 # keys make texting?
2. I read somewhere that when you go to view pictures you've taken using your handset, they only show up in a really small fashion, not using all of the screen available?
3. I also read that you can't transfer pictures you take onto removable storage - so if you want to get your pictures etc on to your computer (or vice versa), is there any way to get around this?
Thanks a lot. Any replies would be appreciated.
